here's the thing: you’re in love with a version of a person that you've created in your head, that you are trying to but cannot fix... uh, the only thing you can fix is yourself, i love you, this has gone on way too long, enough is enough. i'm two blocks away im coming over
nuance is when you have the exact same opinion as me and media literacy is when you recognize how misogynistic it is to submit a black comedy as a comedy to an awards show nobody takes seriously. y’all aren’t smart enough to have these conversations!
i started avoiding the phrases media literacy and nuance when i realized most people saying these words aren’t nearly as bright as they are opinionated
Submitting your horror film about rape and lack of bodily autonomy as a comedy is egregious. Especially when one of the biggest news stories right now is about how rape survivors never get justice. Reducing it to a comedy to have a better chance of winning is absolutely vile
It’s still a fringe position but I’ve watched many parts of ultra-left/far-left Twitter increasingly embrace open antisemitism in the last year or so and have to say, it doesn’t feel great!
@LioFotia16 This is the problem with the modern internet. Your retarded take on a movie you haven't seen was just shoved Infront of my face and I reacted to it instead of not giving a fuck.
I guess that's a me problem
I wonder if this film was meant as a meta commentary on misogynistic violence in slashers. Oh wait I’m a radfem so I will never have a self-reflexive thought as long as I live
