Yesterday Yonkers Wrestling made history once again! Coach Paul & Coach Spinelli helped Lincoln High School 10th grader Gabrielle “Gabby” Jones win the 1st ever Section 1 wrestling title at 120lbs. She will compete in Albany, NY at the State Championships 2/28. Congrats Gabby!!

From Somers High School Ryan Ball is your TWO TIME defending Section One Champion! This year at 116lbs. Off to Albany on February 23-24th to wrestle for a New York State Championship. So proud of this kid!! 🤗🤼‍♂️💪🏻🏆

Ryan had a great day yesterday! The Somers Wrestling team had a clean sweep at the Rye Tournament yesterday winning all five duals including the championship! It’s a great start to the season and hope to keep it up! 🤼‍♂️💪🏻🏆👏🏻

Congratulations to my Gorton Boy’s Varsity Soccer Team on winning their first league title since 2016! They beat Riverside 5-0 today at Gorton HS. On to the Yonkers City Championships tomorrow vs Lincoln at Early College HS at 11:30am. See you all there! 👍🏻⚽️💪🏻🏆
