Don

Love sport, love the Perth Wildcats, Boomers & the NBL. Junior B/Ball coach.

[Don @BalmDon]

@miltrain Absolutely agree, but, I question if Bryce had already decided he was leaving (pending a good offer) and the way the situation turned out, it looked like the Cats managed the situation poorly.

[Don @BalmDon]

@TitleCatsx10 @aussiehoopla Absolutely agree. Memories fade quickly - for some. Vote while it’s fresh in the mind.

[Don @BalmDon]

@ESPNAusNZ Delly - an absolute Champion! 👏🙌👍

[Don @BalmDon]

@illawarrahawks Nice Hawks’ Congratulations! 👏🙌👍

[Don @BalmDon]

@JFalleiro Agree - that’s what I do coaching junior BB!

[Don @BalmDon]

@PerthWildcats @NBL The first two journalists who asked JR how he was feeling, then the asked about the future of Jesse & Bryce, need some training to ask better questions. Recognise players’ performance, defensive strategies, what changes got Bryce on the game early? Bench scoring/depth etc 🤔

[Don @BalmDon]

@bouncepassau @NBL It happens. It wasn’t the only reason for the loss though.

[Don @BalmDon]

@JFalleiro Mate I’m disappointed too, but I respectfully disagree that it was an unsuccessful season. Yup, it was a better roster than LY. The flow & variation of the offence improved (as the season progressed), the rebounding improved, but the D was inconsistent & not good enough.

[Don @BalmDon]

@NBL @PerthWildcats That was a fantastic game from Doo! 👏👏🙌

[Don @BalmDon]

@WildcatsMark Yup, understand & feel disappointed too, but I hope you aren’t implying that this play cost us the game, because it wasn’t. There were other changes that could have been made by the coaches which could have increased our chances of winning.

[Don @BalmDon]

@AdamWesterhout Not as much as seeing a shooter come off a screen & make a 3, because the Def is in drops, and no change to the D.

[Don @BalmDon]

Really good performance @PerthWildcats and I’m sure it hurts, but FFS JR! How many times can you allow a shooter to come off a screen & make a 3, because the Def is in drops, before you change your D? But no, the Wildcats kept allowing it to happen! UNFKNBLVBLE!

[Don @BalmDon]

@NBL How are they going to improve the league? Is the NBL lacking credibility? Isn’t the standard of the product good enough to draw its own audience? We’ve heard of record breaking attendance, the eyes 👀 on the league internationally etc. Get real NBL legends to endorse the game.

[Don @BalmDon]

@Lachy_Reid @PerthWildcats @10NewsFirstPER @NBL I can’t get that outta my head, but this current situation…I’m spinning around….

[Don @BalmDon]

@nicktan77 Dude, don’t give them any motivation….

[Don @BalmDon]

@PerthWildcats Yup, good win, Well Done team! Good energy, good intent to push Sydney, good pace on offence, good rebounding on both ends, and good contribution from everyone! 👏👏🙌

[Don @BalmDon]

@Julian_OBrien Did Honey enjoy the Cats’ game?

[Don @BalmDon]

@Julian_OBrien That’s funny & clever. I’m surprised all the Hawks’ players signed it! 😳That’s a good way of giving ‘The Flop’ negative airtime 😉

[Don @BalmDon]

@aussiehoopla I think it’s good for the league. Bryce is a fantastic player & a draw card. It’s a reward & recognition for his consistent performance over 7 seasons. Is there another player that matched BC’s performance in the last 5 seasons? Keep the best players in their prime, in the @NBL
