Namaz-e-Janaza of Sepoy Muhammad Sohail Shaheed (age 19 years, resident of District TharParkar), Sepoy Abdullah Shaheed (age 25 years, resident of District Mardan), who embraced shahadat on night 12/13 November 2023 in area of Mir Ali, North Waziristan District, were offered at District Bannu.

Shuhada were laid to rest with full military honour.

Senior serving military officers, relatives of Shuhada and large strength of locals of the area attended the funerals.

These sacrifices strengthen our resolve to stand resolute and committed to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the motherland at all cost.

Those who say that a Brigadier’s son or General’s son enjoy lavish lifestyles, for your information Lt Col Hassan Haider who embraced martyrdom at Tirah valley while leading from the front is a son of Brig Ghulam Haider (Late), nephew of serving Major General Irfan Malik and Air Commodore Aziz, he was martyred in Tirah operations. He was born a soldier and died a soldier. For those in doubt about military families not carrying traditions, here is Lt Col Hassan Haider a father to a Son and a daughter. It has remained the hallmark of Pakistan Army where Officers lead from the front and has the highest Officer to men ratio in the recorded history of Mankind.

On 14 October 2023, security forces conducted an intelligence based operation in area of Mir Ali, North #Waziristan District on reported presence of terrorists.

During the conduct of operation, intense fire exchange took place between our troops & terrorists, as a result, Six terrorists were sent to hell, while eight terrorists injured.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the terrorists who were actively involved in terrorist acts against security forces and target killing of innocent civilians.

However, during intense exchange of fire, Sepoy Abdul Hakeem (age 33 years, resident of District Naseerabad) having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat.

Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area. Locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism.

General Syed Asim Munir, NI(M), Chief of Army Staff (#COAS) visited Quetta today, where he was briefed on recent terrorist attacks in #Mastung & Zhob.

The briefing was also attended by Federal Minister of Interior, Chief Minister Balochistan and key Provincial Ministers alongwith senior civil and military officials. The participants offered Fateha for the Shuhadas of Mastung, Hangu and Zhob incidents.

COAS paid rich tribute to the Shuhada and remarked “Such incidents of Terrorism on 12 Rabi’ al-Awwal, depicts the ill intent of the Khawarij, who have the backing of State Sponsors of Terrorism. These terrorists and their facilitators, having no link with religion and ideology, are proxies of the enemies of Pakistan and its people. These forces of evil will continue to face full might of the state and security forces backed by a resilient nation. Our operation against terrorists would continue unabated and the Armed Forces, Intelligence and Law Enforcement Agencies shall not rest till the menace of terrorism is rooted out from the country”.

COAS emphasised “People of Pakistan have rejected terrorists’ pseudo ideology and propaganda of their backers and they are fully committed to peace, economic progress & human development which indeed is causing lot of distress to forces of evil in and outside of Pakistan”.

COAS visited CMH Quetta, where he met the injured and families of Mastung incident who are being provided full medical care by Pakistan Army. He also lauded the bravery and resilience of Balochistan Police and Law Enforcement personnel. He assured full cooperation and support to the families of shuhada and assured them that terrorists, their abettors and facilitators will not be spared.

Earlier on arrival, COAS was received by Chief Minister Balochistan and Commander Balochistan Corps.

چیف آف آرمی سٹاف (COAS) جنرل سید عاصم منیر، NI(M) نے آج کوئٹہ کا دورہ کیا، جہاں انہیں مستونگ اور ژوب میں ہونے والے حالیہ دہشت گرد حملوں کے بارے میں بریفنگ دی گئی۔
بریفنگ میں وفاقی وزیر داخلہ، وزیراعلیٰ بلوچستان اور اہم صوبائی وزراء کے علاوہ اعلیٰ سول و عسکری حکام نے ب��ی شرکت کی۔ شرکاء نے مستونگ، ہنگو اور ژوب کے شہداء کے ایصال ثواب کے لیے فاتحہ خوانی کی۔

سی او اے ایس نے شہدا کو زبردست خراج تحسین پیش کیا اور ریمارکس دیئے کہ "12 ربیع الاول کو دہشت گردی کے اس طرح کے واقعات خوارج کے مذموم عزائم کو ظاہر کرتے ہیں، جنہیں دہشت گردی کے ریاستی سرپرستوں کی پشت پناہی حاصل ہے۔ یہ دہشت گرد اور ان کے سہولت کار جن کا مذہب اور نظریے سے کوئی تعلق نہیں، وہ پاکستان اور اس کے عوام کے دشمنوں کے پراکسی ہیں۔ بدی کی یہ قوتیں ریاست اور سیکورٹی فورسز کی بھرپور طاقت کا سامنا کرتی رہیں گی جن کی حمایت ایک مضبوط قوم ہے۔ دہشت گردوں کے خلاف ہمارا آپریشن بلا روک ٹوک جاری رہے گا اور مسلح افواج، انٹیلی جنس اور قانون نافذ کرنے والے ادارے اس وقت تک آرام سے نہیں بیٹھیں گے جب تک ملک سے دہشت گردی کی لعنت کو جڑ سے اکھاڑ پھینکا نہیں جاتا۔

سی او اے ایس نے زور دے کر کہا کہ "پاکستان کے لوگوں نے دہشت گردوں کے سیڈو نظریے اور ان کے پشت پناہوں کے پروپیگنڈے کو مسترد کر دیا ہے اور وہ امن، معاشی ترقی اور انسانی ترقی کے لیے پوری طرح پرعزم ہیں، جس کی وجہ سے پاکستان کے اندر اور باہر شر پسند قوتوں کو بہت زیادہ تکلیف پہنچ رہی ہے"۔

آرمی چیف نے سی ایم ایچ کوئٹہ کا دورہ کیا، جہاں انہوں نے مستونگ واقعے کے زخمیوں اور اہل خانہ سے ملاقات کی جنہیں پاک فوج کی جانب سے مکمل طبی امداد فراہم کی جارہی ہے۔ انہوں نے بلوچستان پولیس اور قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کے اہلکاروں کی بہادری اور لچک کو بھی سراہا۔ انہوں نے شہدا کے اہل خانہ کو مکمل تعاون اور حمایت کا یقین دلایا اور انہیں یقین دلایا کہ دہشت گردوں، ان کے سرپرستوں اور سہولت کاروں کو بخشا نہیں جائے گا۔

قبل ازیں آمد پر وزیراعلیٰ بلوچستان اور کور کمانڈر بلوچستان لیفٹیننٹ جنرل آصف غفور نے آرمی چیف کا استقبال کیا۔
