On 1 September 1965, the Pakistan Army was crushing Indian positions like a sledgehammer.
During the battle, Pakistan intercepted an Indian wireless message saying, "Dispatch Whiskey." Moments later, Indian Air Force Vampire aircraft arrived over the battlefield. According to Indian Major General G. S. Sandhu in History of Indian Cavalry, the first strike by four Vampires destroyed three AMX 13 tanks of India's own 20 Lancers, along with its only recovery vehicle and only ammunition vehicle.
A few hours later, another wireless call for "Whiskey" was intercepted, and a second formation of four Vampires appeared. Sandhu wrote that this strike also hit Indian infantry positions, gun emplacements, ammunition vehicles, and personnel.
The attacks came to an end with the arrival of two PAF F 86 Sabres flown by Squadron Leader Sarfraz Ahmed Rafiqui and his wingman Flight Lieutenant Imtiaz Ahmed Bhatti.
Rafiqui quickly engaged the first pair of Vampires, shooting down one and then the second within moments. Bhatti then moved onto the remaining two aircraft. He destroyed the third Vampire, while the fourth attempted to escape but lost altitude. Bhatti fired again, sending the aircraft crashing to the ground. Its pilot ejected and survived.
Rafiqui recorded the PAF's first aerial victories of the war, while Bhatti added two more kills to the tally. The loss of four Vampires in a single engagement forced the Indian Air Force to withdraw its entire fleet of more than 80 Vampires and around 50 Ouragan aircraft from frontline operations, significantly reducing its ground attack capability. The successful interception by Rafiqui and Bhatti marked a turning point in the air campaign and ended the combat role of the Vampire fleet during the war.
@usman_cph I'd love to hear more from you. Could you add more details to this?
The respected father of martyred Commando Tahseen, who showed immense pride and steadfastness over his son's supreme sacrifice for the nation. The smile on his face and his unwavering love for the homeland are enough to inspire every heart. 🥹🇵🇰

Putin on Pakistan, answering Indian journalist: "You said that Pakistan is a country that is fully under the control of China. I don't think so. Pakistan is a large country."
Has anyone left who hasn't insulted Indian media?
Born in Lucknow, India, Rahila Aunty got married in 1993 and moved to Karachi, Pakistan. She got her nationality in 1994. For her, India is still home but Karachiites never made her feel like she left Lucknow, mostly because of Urdu.
In 2023, she started her food cart and introduced Lucknow’s famous Tunday Kebabs. I was surprised to know that nearly 100 ingredients go into making them. Her kebabs, along with her story, are now going viral on social media.

Tonight, Pakistan achieved one of its biggest diplomatic wins in years. It also defied many skeptics and naysayers that didn’t think it had the capacity to pull off such a complex, high stakes feat.
But what matters the most is it helped avert a potential catastrophe in Iran.
My observations:
1. Iran has won the WAR. Negotiations will be on Iran's 10 points framework for permanent peace.
2. Iran's terms will be accepted by Trump. Why? Will explain.
3. With this WAR, the hegemonic age is over: No followers, only partner nations. India will be the sole exception in the world.
4. Pakistan has emerged as more than a credible mediator - a geopolitical asset in the New World Order.
I will explain the above in my video to be online by today (Wednesday April 8) evening!

Mojtaba said, “I consider our eastern neighbours to be very close to us. For a long time, I have known Pakistan to be a country that was especially beloved by our martyred leader, a sentiment that was evident in the emotion in his voice during Friday prayer sermons over the devastating floods that threatened the lives of our religious brothers there.

“And the Romans lost to Persians in Battle of Carrhae in 53 BCE. At that moment, the mighty Roman Empire marched east convinced that Persia would collapse under the weight of Roman power.
At Carrhae, the Persian army was commanded by the brilliant general Surena, who understood exactly how to exploit Roman weaknesses.
Instead of engaging in a conventional battle, the Parthian cavalry surrounded the Roman formations and unleashed wave after wave of arrows.
Whenever the archers began to run low on ammunition, camel caravans waiting behind the battlefield delivered fresh supplies. This logistical innovation ensured that the barrage never stopped
Roman soldiers found themselves trapped in a nightmare. Their famous shield formations were designed to withstand brief missile attacks before closing with the enemy.
But at Carrhae the arrows kept coming for hours. Shields were pinned to soldiers’ hands, armour was punctured, and the Roman army gradually lost cohesion.
Crassus had assumed the Persians would eventually exhaust their arrows and be forced into close combat. They never did.
At the end of the battle, thousands of Romans lay dead, thousands more were captured, and Crassus himself was killed during a failed negotiation.
The defeat shattered the myth of Roman invincibility and established Persia as the only power capable of consistently resisting Rome.”
History is always contextual one must learn lessons from it !

The aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, long portrayed as a legend of the U.S. military - capable of forcing nations into submission simply by appearing near their territorial waters - is now withdrawing toward the United States after a powerful Iranian attack reportedly caused significant damage.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was martyred in the initial wave of decapitation strikes. The relative pause after that first wave suggests that the Israeli and US aggressors were waiting for confirmation of his martyrdom and, more importantly, for Iran’s reaction to such an occurrence.
As anticipated, the Iranians were well prepared for this scenario. They are responding in a measured manner and have elected an emergency council of three: President Pezeshkian, Chief Justice Ejei, and Guardian Council figure Alireza Arafi. What does this appointment tell us?
Iran had three options:
1.Legacy elite figures, such as Guardian Council members, taking over.
2.The IRGC assuming direct control.
https://t.co/X6Dzq3Uaqz outsider like Hassan Rouhani stepping in as a bridge between factions.
What has transpired is clearly the first case. Legacy figures and hardliners like Ejei – known for overseeing executions of dissidents – along with Ali Larijani of the National Security establishment and Guardian Council figures, appear firmly in control. The martyrdom of the Supreme Leader has further galvanized the people together.
This outcome in no way complements the stated goals of US and Israeli aggression. Iran still retains significant capabilities to harm the US and the Zionist entity. All this suggests that the war will continue. For the Iranians, the chief aim is deterrence by denial – frustrating the adversary’s objectives, prolonging the war, and imposing calibrated costs that hurt the US and its allies, yet do not provide grounds for further escalation or annihilation by force.
“We had decided to be respond to Indian escalation on 9th May in the night for our response authorised by PM for 10th May starting 4am till about 8am. Around 817am Sect Rubio called me and said, India is ready for a ceasefire, are you? I said we never wanted war”, says @MIshaqDar50 Pak DPM/FM in his year end presser.
“A decisive turning point came with Pakistan’s unexpected showing in its brief but intense May clash with India, an outcome that reportedly left Mr. Trump stunned. The conflict showcased a level of military discipline, strategic focus and asymmetric capability that Washington had thought unattainable. Officials in Washington who had casually written off Pakistan as a fading power began referring to it once again as a serious regional actor.”
