Central Nodal Officer for PM SHRI Schools Pu Lalchhandama, CSS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development, Govt of India, today visited PM SHRI schools in Serchhip district as part of the Centre’s review of the scheme across States and UTs.

He inspected PM SHRI Govt Buangpui Primary School and PM SHRI Govt Khawlailung Primary School-II, and also visited PM SHRI Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Thenzawl, where he reviewed infrastructure, ongoing initiatives and interacted with teachers.

He was accompanied by Joint Secretary, School Education Department, Govt of Mizoram Pu Malsawmtluanga, Dy State Project Director Samagra Shiksha Mizoram Pu Andrew Lalrintluanga and district officials.

Later, he also held a meeting with DC Serchhip and officials on further strengthening PM SHRI schools in the district.
