@shaylarz Absolutely. The way the 2024 trade deadline played out makes me think the decision to sell the team already happened and the Pohlads were waiting until the offseason to announce it. I would be pissed as a player if I was on this team.

The Pohlads need to sell this team before the start of the offseason so this team can have an owner that’s willing to spend on players in free agency. When given the resources, Falvey has proven to be able to build a playoff team. #MNTwins

@AlexMicheletti I also blame Bally Sports. A stable tv contract would’ve allowed them to at least spend the same amount as last year. With 3 starters pre-arb, they would’ve had the money to go after a top SP free agent or resign Gray at the very least.

@AlexMicheletti Every pitcher is one pitch away from hurting their arm. Twins might deal with it more but they aren’t the only team that has dealt with this. Yankees with Montas, Rangers with deGrom and Scherzer, and Mariners with Ray. Going after any pitcher is a risk now.

@AlexMicheletti I didn’t watch this game so I have no idea how his performance was, but I understand that answer if he didn’t have his stuff and battled to get to 90 pitches. I bet he gives a different answer if he was dealing.
