@BJP4India @bjp you should remember it's not the core voter who helps you to win the elections, it's the fluctuate voter who helps you to win and i believe you become the new congress after all these years of raaj.
He's Tukaram Mundhe, a 2005-batch IAS from Maharashtra.
Over the last few weeks, you might have heard his name. That is because he was recently appointed Commissioner of State’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Since taking charge, the FDA has been on an absolute warpath, raiding illegal, fake, synthetic, and adulterated products. From synthetic milk networks and adulterated paneer to illegal gutkha and unhygienic eateries, nothing has escaped his radar.
Mundhe has made it clear that even the most famous names will not get a free pass. His department shocked Mumbai by suspending the food licenses of iconic establishments, such as the 73-year-old Marine Drive ice cream parlor K. Rustom & Co., alongside famous eateries like Shalimar Hospitality, Noor Mohammadi Hotel, and Rahmaniya Restaurant, after surprise inspections uncovered severe hygiene violations, including live pests and expired ingredients.
Such is the fear of his crackdowns that, just two days ago, dairy farmers were caught on video spilling hundreds of liters of synthetic milk after rumors of an impending FDA raid spread.
This is his 25th transfer in a 21-year career, a testament to his refusal to bend to political pressure. It makes you wonder: if just one IAS officer can bring about so much change, where would our country be if every bureaucrat were as uncompromising and proactive as him?
Honest feedback for the GoI to consider, offered as a well-wisher:
1. E20 is a massive issue. Just because people aren't protesting in the streets doesn't mean it isn't. There is a simmering anger everywhere.
2. The root cause of this mess is singular: someone decided it was acceptable to ignore the National Policy on Biofuels 2018's plan to introduce E20 in 2030, which would have allowed older, non-compliant vehicles to phase out naturally. Instead, E20 was rolled out despite the fact that most vehicles on the road are not calibrated to run on it.
3. There is no "lobby" behind this public frustration. If the govt believes there is, they should expose the nexus and let citizens decide for themselves. Otherwise, ministers and spokespersons are only making things worse by using "lobbies" and "deep states" as defensive arguments.
4. Vehicle performance is suffering. Drivers are experiencing a drop in mileage and damage to parts. After months of denial, even Nitin Gadkari and Hardeep Puri have acknowledged "some issues" with Ethanol.
5. If the goal is true energy security, the focus and push must shift toward EVs, alongside exploring nuclear energy as a primary power source. The govt should encourage and incentivize EV adoption through subsidies and a robust infrastructure network. Ethanol, in the way it is currently being implemented, is doing more harm than good.
6. The solution is to provide a choice between E0 and E20. If the current fuel infrastructure cannot support both, E20 should be rolled back to E10 until 2030. This will allow older cars and bikes to be phased out naturally before moving forward. And also, do not introduce E27 or whatever is next till the new fleet is E27 compliant and all E20 cars are phased out, unless there is an infrastructure in place to dispense both in future.
She is Pooja Jha, an Indian diplomat who refused to stay silent when India's map was shown incorrectly.
At a foreign policy seminar organized by the Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS) in Dhaka, a presentation displayed a map that wrongly showed Jammu & Kashmir as part of Pakistan.
Pooja immediately objected and called the map "factually incorrect."
After that, former Bangladeshi diplomat Tariq A. Karim said the map was used only for "representational purposes" and "didn't project actual boundaries."
But she stood her ground and firmly replied: "Jammu & Kashmir is an integral and inalienable part of India."
Pooja didn't raise her voice. She raised India's position. That's what true diplomacy looks like - clear, fearless, and unwavering when it matters most. She reminded everyone in the seminar that India's sovereignty is never open for interpretation.

Because HP, in addition to being a Dev Bhoomi, is also Veer Bhoomi. Every family has a serving or Veteran or potential soldier. No wonder the state has more than 1200 gallantry awards, including six highest ones (4 PVCs and 2 ACs).

Javed Miandad said, “Bowlers like Irfan Pathan are found in every street of Pakistan.”
Next day Pathan took a first over hat trick against Pakistan in Pakistan.
The Muslim captain of the Indian hockey team misses a crucial penalty against Pakistan.
He is branded a “traitor,” with suspicion tied to his Muslim identity. His house is vandalized, “Gaddar” is written on its wall. He is forced to vacate the house with his crying mother, and a background song says, “Teeja tera rang tha main to” (Addressing to the flag : I was the third color of you, i.e., green, i.e., minority), “jiya tere dhang se main to” (I lived by the rules you laid for me), “tu hi tha maula, tu hi aan” (you were my God, my pride).
Chak De was a brilliantly executed, subtle Muslim victimhood propaganda. All this when it was a made-up story. Nothing like that happened. The story had inspiration, if any, from a Hindu coach. In a country where a Muslim actually becomes a captain like Azharuddin and is loved and admired by millions who never cared about his religion, players like Zaheer, Shami, Kaif, Siraj, etc., are idolized, you made a movie showing exactly the opposite, putting the audience into guilt.
I am writing this because I saw a tweet saying there was a time before 2014 when propaganda movies were not made. Lol! Nowadays, propaganda is obvious. Films don’t hide it. They present it openly. Obvious propaganda is easy to spot and dismiss. The more effective kind is the subtle one, wrapped in good cinema, strong emotions, and moral positioning. Films like Chak De!, Rang De Basanti, PK, and My Name Is Khan fall into that category.
