URGENT CALL FOR HELP!!!!!
This is a young medical doctor called Dr Innocent. He’s working as a house officer at the Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital in Calabar, Cross River State.

Dr Innocent and his other doctor colleagues who are also house officers have NOT been paid for 290 days.

Yes you read that right.
A whole 290 days of working as a medical doctor with ZERO pay. That’s about 10 months work with NO pay.

According to Dr Innocent,
The Ministry of Defence has refused to pay their salaries for no reason. This young medical doctors are being worked like slaves while receiving ZERO pay.

They have nobody to speak for them.
They have nobody to fight for them.
They are suffering and dying in silence.

When I was at my PPA, something happened on graduation day that really stayed with me.

Some graduating students came with their parents and loved ones, while others had no one in the crowd for them. As the MC began calling students to come forward with their parents, something beautiful happened.

Whenever it became obvious that a student didn’t have anyone present, other parents in the audience would step forward to stand in for them.

It was deeply touching. In that moment, no student felt left out or alone.

It reminded me that this is how life should be. We are not meant to live only for ourselves or limit kindness based on status or familiarity. Sometimes, showing up for someone who has no one can mean everything.

Be that person. Stand up for others, especially when they have no one to stand for them.

She was arrested 7:35am this morning and got to the station at 8:20am.

We got to the Force Headquarters Annex at 9am. We didn’t leave until now that we completed the bail process.

AfiaTv team, Uche, Barrister Kene Nnadi and two other lawyers were there to ensure she was out. Joy can never walk alone.

We will take up Ifeyinwa Peace Okwudo up immediately. We will deploy every legal means.

We will offer Joy Ezeugwu all the support and will always be by her side.

Any student who is bold enough speak up against evil in their schools will always have our support.

We will build an army of lawyers that will be ever ready to fight for justice.

We will dismantle injustice and impunities in our institutions.

He was one of us. A medical student who had just finished his 4th MBBS exams. On the very day of his viva, his heart failed him and the system failed him even more.

A hospital was minutes away. Doctors were present. Students trained to save lives were there. CPR was done for about an hour. But the ambulance that came had no oxygen. No stretcher. It had to turn back. And in that gap… we lost him.

This is not just one death. This is a mirror held up to a system that is breaking under the weight of neglect. Hospitals without equipment. Emergency services that cannot respond. People who cannot afford care even when it exists.

Today it is him. Tomorrow, it could be any of us.

This is a call for urgent attention to healthcare, emergency response, and basic infrastructure. Lives depend on it not statistics, not speeches, but real people with dreams, families, and futures.

We cannot normalize this. We must demand better because human life should never be this disposable!!!

Our Consultant told us a story of a child who had a foreign body in the airway and Surgery was indicated. The child’s mother was crashing out on the child. A few seconds later:

In the photo is a young woman, Peace Moses whose precious life full of promises, was brutally cut short on the night of March 19, 2026, along Ada George Road in Port Harcourt.

Peace was returning from a church program e - a place of hope, faith, and safety - but she never made it home that day.

She was struck by an overspeeding convoy.

Eyewitnesses say what happened next is almost too painful to process- multiple vehicles in that convoy reportedly ran over her. Not one stopped. Not one showed concern. Not one looked back.

They left her there and she died on the spot from the multiple impacts of overspeeding vehicles by heartless humans.

They took her life and drove on like nothing happened.

Now let me tell you who Peace was...

I didn’t know her personally until this tragedy began to trend. But the more I learned, the heavier this loss became.

Peace was young, vibrant, and purposeful.

She wasn’t just living - she was building.
She was actively involved in positive social causes and even ran an NGO focused on empowering women.

She had dreams with clear plans. A future she was already shaping. And in a moment of reckless disregard, all of that was wiped away.

Why am I making this post?

Because this is no longer just about mourning Peace. This is about accountability.

This is about testing whether we truly want a better Nigeria - or we only talk about it.

Right now, there is little to no concrete information about the convoy responsible. It all happened so fast that even those around her are still struggling to piece it together.

But here’s the truth:

We can find them and we must.

This is a call to action...

If you live or do business around Ada George Road in Port Harcourt, if your shop or building has CCTV cameras, we need you on this.

Did your camera capture any convoy passing between 7:00pm and 7:30pm that night?

Did you see anything? Do you remember a number plate, a siren, a vehicle color, or anything unusual?

Even the smallest detail could be the missing piece. Because if we let this slide. If we stay silent. If we move on like nothing happened, then we are telling ourselves that some lives in Nigeria do not matter.

And that must never be the case. These killers must not go free.

Justice for Peace is not just about one girl-it is about sending a message that recklessness, power, and impunity will no longer be protected in this country.

If you know anything, say something.
If you saw something, share it. If you have footage, bring it forward.

Let’s prove that we are not powerless. Let’s prove that we care. Let’s prove that Nigeria can be better- not just in words, but in action.
