it is an unwritten rule of life that after every prolonged period of hardship and uncertainty, there is going to be a period when you are going to achieve quantum leaps across multiple areas of your life. the only requirement is that you do not give up on yourself.
DO NOT RESIGN.
At some point in your NNPC career, you’ll likely be in a position to sponsor your own MSc without having to sacrifice your job. By then, the course you choose and even the country you choose to study in may be entirely different.
Also, over the course of your career, you could have access to several local and international trainings, certifications, conferences and development programs sponsored by NNPC.
The bigger question is: what happens after the Mastercard MSc?
You’ll have a prestigious degree from Edinburgh, yes. But you’ll also have to re-enter the job market and figure out your next move.
If you keep the NNPC role, you retain a valuable career platform and preserve the option of pursuing an MSc later.
Don’t give up a career opportunity for an academic opportunity that you may eventually be able to create for yourself.
You’ll probably even prefer to have an MBA instead..

Wicked man
Unfortunately, sometimes you have to be a little mean to make people realize you're not someone to be played with. Not everyone respects kindness, but they will respect boundaries.

Nothing breaks my heart more than seeing elderly people navigate hospitals alone, trying to figure out labs, billing, consultations, and everything in between.
