This photograph, the first of its kind to be published, shows Ammar al-Baluchi, confined at a CIA black site. Stripped of his dignity, al-Baluchi stands naked except for the shackles around his wrists, a haunting testament to the brutal conditions he endured. The fact is that this photo is the least of the worst of Ammar and others compared to the classified photos.

Between 2002 and 2008, hundreds of Muslim men and children were kidnapped, imprisoned, and interrogated at these secret CIA prisons around the world.
