Rejecting both the Islamic Republic and the return of monarchy does not make someone “with the regime.” That dishonest smear is pushed by propagandists and personality-cult loyalists who thrive on deception, intimidation, and manufactured outrage because they cannot accept that millions of Iranians and Baluchs refuse to trade one form of authoritarianism for another. These factions exploit fear, rewrite history, and attack anyone who refuses to submit to their agenda, all while pretending to speak for freedom. People demanding a democratic, secular, pluralistic future are relentlessly targeted by those trying to force a false and manipulative choice between corrupt clerical rule and recycled dynastic nostalgia.

People fought against the Shah’s repression, censorship, torture, secret police abuses, and authoritarianism long before they rose up against the Islamic Republic’s brutality, executions, and violent suppression of dissent. Opposing Pahlavi glorification is not support for the ayatollahs, just as rejecting the ayatollahs does not mean surrendering to monarchist revisionism. Both camps have relied on propaganda, fearmongering, and personality worship to silence criticism and maintain power. Trying to erase history and whitewash dictatorship only exposes how cynical, dishonest, and morally bankrupt these narratives really are.

Iran is not the property of Khamenei, the Pahlavis, or any clique demanding blind loyalty while smearing critics as traitors and enemies. The future belongs to the people, not to opportunists who exploit suffering, manipulate public anger, and attempt to revive failed systems through propaganda, intimidation, and cult-like politics.
