One of our #coastal #Island geosites along #JerseyCI's south-west coast. Stone tools and bone heaps including Neanderthal remains were discovered in a cave within this granite headland. 🦣

The matchstick!
Whilst flying over this water outlet on the beach at St Aubin I immediately saw the lit matchstick! I love the way aerial photography makes us look at items we see everyday in a completely different way!

Had fun last night looking for the aurora!
After a red alert for possible aurora activity across the UK we headed to Plemont with fingers crossed!
Although not visible to the naked eye, the camera picked out a few colours!
