Youtube is rolling out a DM feature where they finally ask terminated creators for additional context for their situation. I don’t know if this is for ALL ongoing cases, but this is REAL and it’s a BIG thing because this was sent AFTER someone’s appearance got denied (handled)This is honestly all creators have been asking for, just a chance to be heard.
terminations aren’t always a one time thing. Some of us have consent, proof, and staged content, yet were hit for policies we never violated.
If YouTube truly considers context now, a lot of false bans could finally get corrected. if you do happen to get this DM, make sure when you’re explaining to them to keep it professional, don’t be emotional, and explain EVERYTHIGN from a community guidelines perspective. Make sure to back every policy up (in the specific policies you got terminated for) I hope they actually take what we say into consideration.
