Day 23 March Matness: Swimming
Excellent for working the back of the body and for lengthening out the spine while correcting any imbalances. Remember to lift abdominals up and away from the mat to keep your core engaged as you ‘swim’ 🏊🏻♀️ !

Day 22 March Matness - The Teaser
Hope your week is off to a great start! Here is one of the most recognisable Pilates exercises and a great one to come back to and check your progress 😊

Day 18 & 19 March Matness: Spine Twist and Jack Knife
Spine Twist: Sit up tall, squeeze your legs together and rotate from the waist.

Day 16 & 17 of March Matness:
Scissors and Bicycle
https://t.co/FMzPUHrxGJ
Shoulder Bridge
Halfway through the repertoire and it’s a great one for the spine, strengthening hamstrings and glutes as well as a lovely stretch for the front of the body!

Day 15 March Matness: Neck Pull
It’s Monday again though and time to get back into it with the Neck Pull. A challenging one but definitely not as nasty as the name would suggest 😱.

Day 11 12 of March Matness:
Single & Double Leg Stretch: A full body workout that improves posture, increases upper back strength, stretches out the quads and chest and also works the glutes and back chain of muscles.

Day 11 - March Matness
Swan Dive: Rock into the weekend with the Swan Dive! A great way to stretch out the front of the body including hip flexors and abdominal plus the added benefit of aiding digestion.

Day 10 March Matness: The Saw
On of my absolutes favourites - a chance to stretch out the spine, lengthen the hamstrings and work into the obliques.
https://t.co/NwOg8hSoSV
Day 9 of March Matness:
Cork Screw: Work into the obliques as you strengthen the hip flexors and stretch out your lower back. Squeeze inner thighs together to work the adductors. Place hands under pelvis or bend legs to modify.

Catching up on Day 8 of March Matness:
Open Leg Rocker: Challenge your balance, work on spinal mobility & hamstring flexibility as well as abdominal strength. Bend legs or only lengthen 1 leg at a time if you need to build up to the full movement

Day 7 March Matness: Spine Stretch
A lovely one for the spine and hamstrings. Think about lifting up out of your waist & scooping in the abs as you reach forward. Bend your knees if you have tight hamstrings 👍

Day 5 & 6 of March Matness: Rolling Like A Ball and Single / Double Leg Stretch
Both fantastic exercises for your body. Modify as required and have fun while you work!
Rolling Like A Ball: https://t.co/riwWptMGJ5
Single / Double Leg Stretch: https://t.co/lsAspyzeJS
Day 4 March Matness: One Leg Circle
Aim is pelvic stability using your core control. Anchor everything else to the mat as you circle your leg from the hip.

March Matness Day 3: The Rollover
Not for everyone but as always there are modifications! It’s all about gaining mobility in your spine, improving abdominal strength & control while giving your hamstrings a good stretch.

Day 2 of March Matness - The Roll Up
Rolling down with control is just as important as the rolling up part!
This can be a very tricky one depending not only on core strength but also flexibility, bone length, spinal mobility etc.
