@Flotee_ Absurd reasoning.
By this logic, Ronaldo has no legacy at all at club level because Man United, Real Madrid and Juventus were already used to winning and scoring loads of goals in club competitions.
@evanzmuzikmw Getting a PhD while old is what removes you from the job market. At least in the academia. Universities don’t like employing assistant professors aged more than 45.
You assume people of all cultures behave alike, which is a terribly erroneous viewpoint. Eastern Confucian cultures, for instance, are not confrontational in their dealings. They tend to emphasise norm and procedure above all else and once they let you in, they let you in for a good reason and nothing will make them let you out if they continue to find you useful. Have you ever heard, in the past 20-30 years or so, that any Confucian country was on the brink of violence against foreigners? It’s never been. That’s not to say everyone in those cultures is pro-immigration (people in any culture will never uniformly agree on anything). But their cultural aversion to 「亂」would never let them go violent and destroy a society they’ve worked so hard to build. Anarchism, which you seem to think is at the fore of every person’s brain, is rare in those societies. Their way of thinking is markedly different from Western ways of thinking.
It’s obviously because our education system is terribly sub-par. Ciceŵa is not a deep language and stores very limited scientific and philosophical knowledge, and we won’t benefit much if we use it in official settings. Even deeper languages like Japanese, Chinese or French borrow from English. The solution is to change how it’s taught, not to ditch it altogether. Our people will become less competitive on the international job/scholarly market if we switch to Ciceŵa.
@Flotee_ I think the only way to humanise content generated using AI is to go through it and edit it yourself. You’ll keep running around in circles if you rely on a system that relies on dominant tokens to “humanise” what it generates. It just can’t work.
@evanzmuzikmw@Stan_chisale Chichewa is not a deep language. Not all words or phrases you may want to use can be instantly translated into Ciceŵa. You won’t achieve much if you cling to it when it lacks the depth you need to communicate effectively.
