The junta regime reported the alleged arrest of Mr Zin Min Oo, a spokesperson for the Khayan - People Defense Force (Khayan - PDF) at 11:00 pm on Saturday in Kyaikto township of Mon state, Myanmar.
The image released by the junta regime shows his face has been swollen as a result of what appears to be badly beating up.
Mr Zin Min Oo lives in No. 6 Ward of Khayan Township, Yangon region. On 25 April, seven members of Khayan - PDF were arrested in Mayangone township of Yangon city with their weapons and equipment.
The arrest of Mr Zin Min Oo was part of a wider crackdown on those perceived to be opposition figures, as the junta regime continues to consolidate its power in Myanmar.
