These iterations are less about figuring out the head design and more about deciding how the body should be rendered. That said, the final pixel art is so small that most of those rendering differences probably wouldn’t be noticeable.

This is devastating. I met Eric last year. I was going to a movie at my local theater and he was there signing posters for an animated short called "Bullet Time" in which he voiced the lead. I had no idea, at the time, that he was basically the modern day Mel Blanc and the voice of nearly every Looney Tunes character.

He called my wife and I over to his table and started doing Bugs impressions for us, then asked if we wanted a poster. He proceeded to run through, like, 5 different voices. We had a good laugh and told him how great he was at them and he goes "Yeah! I'm Bugs!" and laughed with us as our jaws hit the floor. Of course, he was!

I was so taken by how humble and generous Eric was with his time. He seemed to love what he did so much. Man, this sucks. What a loss. I'm glad our paths crossed even for that brief moment.

Eric Bauza has sadly passed away at the age of 46.

The modern voice of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck alongside many other beloved characters.
