Early last year an Irish woman was murdered while out running. Irish men were blamed. Irish mummies were blamed. Sam McConkey was given a platform to say Irish men should need a licence to socialise.
Now, an Afhgan man is in custody for murder. Not a peep about him or his mammy

@IrishTimes The legal definition of corruption is so narrow here that you'd literally have to hand someone an envelope with bribe written on it and an outline of the services you purchased.

@IrishTimes Very mediocre film all things considered. It portrays a version of Ireland you'd see in British propaganda and overall its too difficult to believe to be funny. His other works are much, much better.
