@de79dc @Zach_Graumann Take some time and think about his tweet. Who his target audience is? What he wants them to think about. How the two examples he gave showcase America, the will of the people, and the people passing this stimulus. Appreciate the condescending assumptions. Enjoy the day.
@AndrewYang At this point my guess is a libertarian candidate is more likely to legalize than democrats. What a joke this political party has become. @DNC Can we create a third party? I will do whatever it takes.
@LindseyBoylan We will see a brain drain in cities for those folks that can work remotely long term. As well as companies leveraging as much remote work as possible to reduce brick and mortar costs. will widen the wealth gap in cities I imagine.
@TomPerez If only we had universal healthcare then this entire issue could be avoided. Shame,,,, if only there was a political party doing everything they can to get us to that point.
@BoboCalc@Alexwashere@JasonFarkas@AndrewYang Yes companies will pay less if possible. That is capitalism. we can argue how corrupt later. Say you have 10 people. 8 work, 2 caretakers. FD does a better job of impacting lives than minimum wage. Again my only goal is for everyone(not just workers) out of poverty.
@BoboCalc@Alexwashere@JasonFarkas@AndrewYang Is there any large scale evidence or study that points to salary decreases in the wake of significant government subsidies? If anything less people would work or wouldn't settle. Leading to increased demand for labor relative to supply.
@BoboCalc@Alexwashere@JasonFarkas@AndrewYang I don't think corporations benefit the most. I would guess small start up business and local business would benefit more.
I don't think anyone would argue that the current economy is not based on work. I am more concerned about the pressure of capitalism and technology.
@BoboCalc@Alexwashere@JasonFarkas@AndrewYang So you would rather see 15 dollars an hour vs. a base wage that everyone gets, regardless of their circumstance? Well under the current system we still have poverty and are fighting for a living wage. Maybe try something new that is human focused.
@BoboCalc@Alexwashere@JasonFarkas@AndrewYang I think I see your logic. Corporations are humans so humans must also be corporations. Therefore freedom dividend is for corporations. Thanks for the education.
There are 18,000 police departments in the US. How is reform possible? One approach would be a new George Floyd Police Misconduct division of the DOJ with a budget of $6 billion a year. Hire thousands of federal agents to investigate police misconduct. Have Val Demings run it.
@PeoplesMage @mrrobert0124@washingtonpost Andrew was the only candidate to have trailing media compared to his polls. Ie a blackout. This was a test run and he is proving to be more correct each passing day. Name recognition is also way up all good things. Have a great day
@AndrewYang Hey @AndrewYang I love the endeavors. But we need to determine what device will be effective vs. "heard" I think we are in need of queue that will lead to action. Any thoughts on that will be productive. #YangGang
