Iranian sources said special operations forces carried out an operation inside Israel, resulting in the killing of a senior Israeli security official, according to Fars News Agency.

Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem lauded the fighters of the Islamic Resistance, the "heroes of the battlefield", for their courage and steadfastness in confronting the #US-backed Israeli aggression in a new message.

In his heartfelt letter, sent in response to an earlier letter by the fighters, Sheikh Qassem praised the fighters' courage and unwavering faith, emphasizing that they "rise above the pettiness of seeking the fleeting rewards of this world from tyrants and oppressors, holding fast to the blessings of faith and righteousness granted to you by God."

He praised the fighters for confronting the “barbaric criminality of the Zionist enemy, the savage tyranny of the US, and the greedy West,” asserting that their light spreads as "a herald of a proud future and decisive victory."

Sheikh Qassem underscored that the Resistance stands at the rightful position of defense, protecting the nation’s independence and refusing surrender.

He praised the fighters, highlighting their meticulous preparation, flexibility, and ability to leave the enemy bewildered on the battlefield, ensuring that the field of honor remains in their hands.

Reflecting on the ultimate sacrifices of martyrs and fighters, namely the Ummah's martyrs Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, and the Leader of the Ummah's martyrs, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, Sheikh Qassem called them a source of inspiration for ongoing resistance and the continuation of the struggle.

Sheikh Qassem concluded with a stirring declaration of solidarity and pride, stating, "I am with you, drawing light alongside our honorable, self-sacrificing people, inspired by your martyrdom spirit that fears no death, so that together we may taste the sweetness of liberation and honor."
