You know, it's shattering to see black men whom I love and care for on my tl on Facebook and Twitter speak on how terrified they are...AGAIN. If you can, help us. If you don't, then stop trying to refrain others who are non-POC from actually helping.+

i’m really worried about black people’s mental health. about young black people on social media seeing this in full for the first time. here are some resources:
@BangtanDevi love u so much & i love this for you, that’s such a beautiful feeling 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 you’re the best & i’m so humbled & inspired to have helped you realize these cultural aspects!!
Michelle thank you for recommending this 💜🥺💜🥺💜 Who'd knew watching this I'd discover more about my family history
I'm from a multi-racial family so I don't necessarily know where most of my family traditions come from. I've asked my mother before about them like where did-
the tradition where we choose items that represent our future when we're a baby come from? And why do I need to always keep a talisman on me wherever I go? But I was always just told, "it's just something our family does". So imagine my shock when I see them on the screen.
