@gaa_world Getting players fit, actually joining the panel and a few boys back into the country and you'll see 6/7 new starters next year which would raise the quality to a new level
Just have to cross our fingers that further players don't emmigrate
The new game gives hope to everyone
A stranger game you wont see. Down 14 at HT (no wind)
Yet Leitrim could argue that the game was up for grabs with a few mins left
All that without McNulty, Prior, McGloin etc
If Poacher can get everyone fit + onto the panel youd be more hopeful for 2027 then any year for a decade
@thomasniblock@m_brosnan Yeah, not sure why its proving so hard? Its unfortunate as it would be a great addition (Clones)
Has this always been the case in the women's game?
Worse when you go down the levels which is a poor reflection.
Not sure whats stopping them biting the bullet and getting rid?
@lugmeen Hard to know what to make of the second half - easy to play like that when 14 points down and Wexford know the game is over. They'll be kicking themselves when they review the first half
But we've probably never had as much depth in the forwards in my 40 years going to games.
@McDonnellDan I know its an end of season friendly + expectations shouldn't be high but the system/tactics last night leave a lot to be desired
Seeing people having a 'go' at the CMs - for once it wasnt their faults, all they could do was chase second balls going over their heads
Frustrating
Very simple video but fair play to Leitrim Gaa and to Poacher for allowing a video to happen and being proactive about getting more supporters to games.
However, I think the Gaa should be making all Tailteann Cup games a 5er and free for U16 - really push it
@willocallaghan Was bizzare and and maddening that Taylor was letting herself be associated with McGregor previously.
Also, imagine the criac if the Gaa were business savy enough to have negotiated that the fight is only streamed on Gaa+.
Crazy stuff from Brennan/Dublin @TomasORuanaidh
For a squad that were renowned for focusing on performance and the process to get there. They're now creating a circus. Same with not engaging with the media
3 days ago they lost to Louth and conceded 3.11 in the second half
@GerOnSport Nobody got pushed to the ground?
Noone agrees with the length of the ban - but thats the rule currently when you get a Red as a manager
Dublin used to be so performance focused - now theyre releasing Solicitor Letters a few days after losing to Louth
Say players are fuming
Its becoming apparent that the biggest loss Dublin Gaa has suffered over the last few years is John Costello
This whole statement from Brennan is embarrassing - it was quiet clear what J.Burns meant
How Brennan/Dublin Gaa thought it was a good idea to release this is beyond me
Ger Brennan, via his solicitor Conor Sally, has described #GAA president Jarlath Burnsโ remarks about his disciplinary case as โinsultingโ. Statement released to @examinersport https://t.co/Ol1eDqbi3v
@GerOnSport Where did I say any of that?
Gaa teams/managers releasing solicitor letters over a ban where we all seen Ger push someone to the ground is ridiculous
Esp. At a time where his team is performing dreadfully and when the backroom wouldnt even speak to the media - lack of leadership
@Bob__Ewing@AaronMaher95 Wouldn't agree, Neil. Not in the last few years anyway.
For the odd game its been good. But attendances have been way down in the last 10 years compared to before.
Think all TC games need to be a 5er or something to entice more in.
@Mc1000001@Shanekel73 Young lad coming through at Leitrim Gaels - Scott Kerr our U20 GK this year, arguably has a higher ceiling then Gaffey.
If either of them are on a Leitrim team in the coming years its one position we won't have to worry about.
@anspailpin If youve a couple a good people with you and sunshine Killarney wouldn't need to be to active.
Ir then you'll have a few away Golfing I'd imagine
The lack of reaction to this cracker of a first half in The Hyde tells me that a a lot of our Gaa Journalists were enjoying the finest hospitality in Killarney last night.
Rightly so aswell.
