Help meeeee. No let my talent waste, abeg.
I don tire.
i know you're talking about books but i would like to say that i'm a filmmaker from jos, nigeria who's working on an anthology called STORIES THAT TOUCH.a collection of ten magnificently written short films chronicling the lives of nigerians from all over. it's my finest work yet
do you know how many dreams and interests i've had to let go of because of a lack of funds??? and not being born into a well-to-do family??? this anthology will not be one of them. i'm not giving up on my baby. my partner and i will continue to fight for this until it's made

Nigerians would foolishly butt in and say "try talking slowly."
Lmaoo, you bird brains are so wonderfully made.
Once you tweet "no soda journey" you will relapse like mad.
I didn't take soda from 2021 to 2024 just because they increased the price of soda.
When you don ready, you go start your "no soda" journey.

The deeper you dig into R&B, the more you realize how much great music exists outside of the usual canon. There are so many albums, album cuts and artists that deserve to be part of the conversation too.
They don’t listen to R&B at all, just what they see on social media. Ask them about Rachelle Farrell, Lisa Fischer, Anita Baker, Kut Klose, Dru Hill, Al Green and suddenly it’s critics but let Brandy be brought up and suddenly everyone is an R&B expert 🙄🙄🙄
