Thank you MTN for infuriating me this night because I’ve scrolled down to the end of the over 100 pages spreadsheet you sent to me for an appendix to explain the HOUR and TIME so I can appropriately reconcile myself but you said NO, let’s frustrate her further and infuriate her.

This is why I have a special irritation with healthcare workers, especially Drs, who support APC.

They cannot say they are in denial. They have lived this reality since they were as young as 16/17.

They memorised some of these numbers.

They worked in these wards where they had to donate blood, contribute money to keep newborn babies alive & tell relatives every day that if they can't afford 30k surgery, their relatives may not make it.

They worked in the same wards where they returned the next day to clerk, and half the male medical ward had died overnight.

They wrote their community medicine projects centred around some of these statistics.

So they fully understand the state of the country through one of its most important lenses—healthcare.

So it is a special kind of evil to see all that & still campaign and vote for the devil.

I remember the last time I spoke about our life expectancy & some Nigerians were in disbelief.

The truth is that most of the countries you just listed(Syria, Afghan etc) are either active war zones or recovering from massive conflicts. Their life expectancy is suppressed by bombs & terrorism. 💀

We are losing peacetime populations at wartime rates. Our maternal mortality rate is 1,047 deaths per 100,000 births. It basically means we lose a woman to childbirth roughly every 6 to 7 minutes.

Malaria is wiping out roughly 194,000 people a year. That is one preventable death every 3 minutes. We also lose over 768,000 children under five annually. That means more than one child dies every single minute.

When we say elections have consequences, we don't mean you can no longer afford plane tickets; it costs lives every minute. Every ballot paper can become a death certificate.

We are not ready.

1. Why did result transmission freeze for nearly 3 hours (20:48 hrs–23:42 hrs ) on the Election night? Why the sudden rush of 236 results in less than 1 minute right after that (Image 1)?
2. Why were 51 polling unit results uploaded ONLY after declaring a winner (Image 2)?
3. Why are 11 polling unit results still missing on IReV even TODAY (Image 3)?

It’s my birthday today, but I’m struggling to celebrate.

My friend Chukwudi Nzelu, a former Nigerian national Taekwondo athlete and champion, is fighting for his life against lung cancer.

Chukwudi once fought for Nigeria. Today, I’m asking Nigeria to fight for him.

We have funded his treatment as far as we could, but a break in treatment due to funds has seen his condition deteriorate. He needs to return to treatment urgently.

We need to raise at least ₦7 million to cover two immunotherapy injections, five radiation treatments and an extended hospital stay.

And Chukwudi became a father just last month.

His little girl deserves the chance to grow up with her father. He deserves the chance to watch her grow.

So this year, I have only one birthday wish:
