@PerBylund@DavidjoyAd1@StephanieKelton Well I figured as much, but I thought, perhaps foolishly, that her disciples don't mean that and they think that scarcity really doesn't exist for them and the government can make them rich by printing money. Otherwise why advocate for such nonsense?
@PerBylund@DavidjoyAd1@StephanieKelton The only strawman is Kelton answering a question no economist asks. No one says we can't have the things we want because we don't have the money. We can't have the things we want because they don't exist in the abundance that everyone wants them.
@womenslibarmy@johnsonstickk@Rensontwitts@NRA@GavinNewsom They would have to drop enough nukes to wipe out all life on the planet. Which I know you're fine with, but they're not. They don't want to kill off all of their human livestock.
@elonmusk@TuckerCarlson As has always been the case, expansion of money and credit are the cause of inflation. The government can't overspend without it. Now maybe government overspending is the main reason for that monetary policy, but it doesn't have to be.
@JasonPremoAero@profstonge The Fed will buy as many as they have to in order to keep rates where they want them. Problem is to do that they might have to buy all of them.
