“I was sacked today because I refused to lead the opening prayer. As the new staff I was called out to lead the opening praying, I refused because I had already deconstructed from Christianity. They sacked me the following day.” — Man laments
Defend who you want to defend, they all want to sound academically inclined just to say no one among politicians contesting can really solve electricity problem in Nigeria. Deliberately manipulating people’s emotions from objective reasoning.
Politics or vibes? The team reacts to Rufai’s interview with Obi, questioning whether promises like 10,000–20,000MW of power are backed by substance or just popularity.
With Nigerians still waiting for clear economic plans, the conversation highlights the struggle to find leaders offering sound, practical solutions beyond tribal, religious, or partisan lines.

An average Nigerian perception of education is disturbing. We are quick to attach measurable value like money to education, which distort polarity & forgetting that important educational outcomes like ethical reasoning & empathy are not directly measurable
Majority of people in health are so arrogant and feel like they are the only people doing well in their field abroad, because you are doing well doesn’t mean other with different routes are doing bad or cannot do better than you.
This guy is wrong, why will a supposed supervisor wait for 3 months before he/she review my work. My supervisor sets up individual and group meetings with me and other mentees once a week for progress reports, corrections, and group discussions on our various research.
I won’t be surprised if all this talk about Chinese EV are paid ads. I have watched over 4 influencers promoting EV in the last 24 hrs, because people in countries with thousands of EV charging are not rushing EV, why Nigeria with power problems & less than 100 charging point?
@GREATWYZARRD By default, psychology and neuroscience have proven that 95% of our daily actions, decisions and behaviours are driven by our subconscious and 5% are consciously driven. So, are we to blame for the way we are wired?
As much as this sounds good, it lacks objectivity. He failed to factor psychology of motivation and personality in everything he mentioned. Maslow didn’t come about hierarchy of needs for fun, but explained the basics of human drive and motivation.
Dutch Prime Minister Schoof resigned after 15 years and left office on bike, no building him houses anywhere, no security detail, no staff assigned and paid by the country to him. He will start life again like normal citizen. Nigeria politicians can never relate to this.
This is a law that needs to be amended, in a country where you can hardly get help by dialing emergency services number, how will people help someone in emergency. This will further encourage bystanders effect due to fear of being liable if bad things happen.

@instablog9ja Talk is cheap, the best advice would be for them to stay out of active politics. Dangote has worked with different parties without active participation or affiliation with party. Will you put yourself in their shoes if an opposition eventually emerged and pay them back in full.
They are always quick to propose and increase tax on the citizens. Ask these people when then will start paying unemployed people unemployment insurance, they suddenly mute. No tax refund, no basic amenities, no unemployment insurance. Useless government.
🇳🇬 Nigerians, please join the call for @taiwoyedele to come and explain what happened to the tax bill after it was passed by the National Assembly.
You all should recall that on the floor of the House of Representatives, Hon. Abdulsammad Dasuki (PDP, Sokoto) raised a formal Point of Privilege, alleging that the officially gazetted versions of Nigeria’s new tax reform laws DO NOT MATCH the bills that were debated, voted on, and passed by the National Assembly.
Lawmakers say they personally reviewed the gazetted copies and found material differences from the harmonised versions approved by both chambers.
Some of the key discrepancies reported include changes to funding provisions, the introduction of a mandatory 20% DEPOSIT BEFORE APPEALS CAN BE HEARD, provisions ALLOWING ASSET GARNISHMENT WITHOUT COURT APPROVAL, alterations to currency computation rules and empowering tax officers with police-like POWERS OF ARREST AND DETENTION.
Nigerians should note that any alteration of a published law compared with what the National Assembly passed undermines CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNANCE and sovereignty.
Please join the call for @taiwoyedele to come and provide Nigerians with clarity on what truly happened to the tax bill. #RejectPovertyTax
So they were caught hitting each other, so dad made them do wall sits.
The comment section went wild. Calling this abuse.
I don't find this abusive. He isn't spanking them. He is disciplining them. If you dont discipline your children, you have criminals.
What do y'all think? Abuse or justified punishment?
For decades, this small West African country was the example. No coups since 1972. Peaceful transfers of power. A working democracy in a region where strongmen ruled.
Then, in December 2025, gunshots cracked through the capital. A group of mutinous soldiers stormed the state TV and declared a new era. They said the government had failed them. That their brothers were dying in the north, fighting jihadists, while politicians in the south rewrote the constitution.
By noon, it was over. Loyal forces crushed the coup. Nigeria sent jets. The president, Patrice Talon, appeared on camera looking calm. Crisis averted. Democracy saved?
Not exactly. Here's what they are not telling you about the coup in Benin Republic.
This nomination came with applause but also with serious questions. I took time to think beyond the noise, beyond the excitement, and beyond public pressure. In this video, I share my full reasoning and my final decision. As always, a truth at a time.
