@steve_hanke $100M Truth and Reconciliation report 2015:
(CDNs aware of 3000 graves now unmarked)
Death rate higher but used gen. pop. (not other boarding schools / houses) and omitted 1800s data.
"probably murdered" just not accurate.

1st time in modern history: Stats Canada reports that the total gross debt of Canada's 3 levels of gov is bigger than our entire economy. (debt/gdp=100.3%)
Higher than the 92% during the 1990s federal debt crisis.
But don't worry. Interest rates never rise.
Unless they do.
@stephen_taylor@greg60328592 More private sector delivery will happen.
Gradual (via political will) or all at once (default)?

@rexglacer@RetwaA Ontariowe needs to sell $60B worth of bonds this year to maintain spending. Big item - $65B "free" healthcare.

The rest of the country is hurting badly. But Ottawa is loving every minute of the pandemic. More bureaucrats than ever, earning more than ever, taxing & spending more than ever. And working less than ever! They’re having a great lockdown!
In response to #Peronist@alferdez's ban on corn exports, 3 out #Argentina's 4 main farm associations will halt trading from Jan. 11 through Jan. 13. All the while, I measure #Inflation at a stunning 112.92%/yr. With #Fernandez at the helm, Argentina is tanking.
@globalnews This doctor says no to restrictions, lockdowns and curfews which are destroying the health and wellbeing of my patients.
I am calling for freedom, not more tyranny

If LFS disappointing, ADP will be abysmal.
August:
Statscan: 246K new jobs!
ADP: 770K lost jobs
Sept:
StatsCan: 378K new jobs!
ADP: 564K lost jobs
Oct:
Statscan: 84K new jobs!
ADP: 79K lost jobs

Today’s disappointing jobs numbers will add to the pain working people face in the pandemic.
Without paycheques more people will fall into poverty and indebtedness.
Coming out of COVID we need a worker-led recovery that will restore paycheques.
