Dude I don't know what you're talking about, but I worked for 2 network TV station in NYC for over 25 years and I NEVER called ahead to arrange an interview. You walk in with a photog behind you and you ask to talk to somebody. Maybe you should learn about journalism. The only time you ever contact a PR person in advance is if the organization is doing a charitable event. You have clearly never done this for a living. I have.
