We're implementing the largest expansion of Sammy’s Law in city history: lowering speed limits to 15 MPH at every eligible school by the end of our first term.
And we’re not waiting to get started. This year, we’re lowering speed limits at 800 additional locations to 15 MPH, bringing the citywide total for School Slow Zones to nearly 1,300 by the close of 2026.
New York City’s streets should be the safest in the world - especially for kids - and City Hall is using every tool at our disposal to make that a reality as quickly as possible.
It should be illegalllllll to have AI in DoorDash. Photos, descriptions etc if you can bother to do it yourself I will not order from it. Shit, they let you upload photos of your own food for images.
The entire department of labor would fall apartment. Read the reviews, my theory?
They tell you to call back to speak to an agent since “one isn’t available” but there’s NEVER one available. EVER.
As an ex assistant manager, I can 100% tell you that production planner is a fool and does NOT know what they are doing. Production planning is an art and some have some ZONT!
I'm not defending Krispy Kreme for making too many donuts, but I assume it's not always easy to predict what you'll need. But consider:
If Krispy Kreme kept the donuts till the next day, they'd be stale.
If Krispy Kreme gave away the donuts free that night, then who would buy them?
If Krispy Kreme donated them to shelters and homeless, then they'd be liable if anything went wrong, in the litigious society we now have.
It's lose-lose for Krispy Kreme.
That said, I am not actually a fan of Krispy Kremes. I prefer the many mom-and-pop donut shops I used to patronize in Texas, which in keeping with Texas law, were all run by Koreans.
He forgot the Golden Rule of the streets: You never know who is inside the vehicle.
The good news? Everybody lived. Everybody went home.
But he definitely left his dignity on that pavement.
Respect people's property, or you might get folded like a lawn chair.
In Rwanda you can get close to mountain gorillas like this!
But if you have long hair, they might touch them just because they are home and curious.
The key is not to panic. Just stay calm.
