Brutal Constitutional truth:
Much of what is broken in Congress traces back to the Seventeenth Amendment to the United States Constitution.

The Founders designed the Senate to represent the States, not function as a second House driven by national populism, donors, media pressure, and party machines.

The Senate was originally answerable to State Legislatures for a reason: federalism, accountability, and balance of power.

Americans increasingly see that Congress is broken:
✔️a Senate detached from the States
✔️a House trapped in perpetual gridlock
✔️and a federal government growing farther from the Constitutional Republic the Founders intended

Repealing the 17th Amendment would not magically fix everything overnight; but it would restore a critical structural check the Founders deliberately built into the system.

The States were meant to have a direct voice in Washington.

We MUST repeal the 17th to help fix Congress.
