In a landmark ruling, the High Court in Petition 179 of 2022 (KHRC & Wanjiru Gikonyo - TISA) has declared that the State violated the Constitution by failing to disclose critical information on debts and borrowing.

The court has now ordered the State to provide, within 45 days:
1️⃣ Details of all debt agreements made on behalf of Kenya.
2️⃣ Information on sovereign bonds.
3️⃣ Breakdown of expenditure of all borrowed funds.

This is a huge step towards unraveling the public debt heist
