My last relationship taught me that there are people who are sincerely predisposed to the simple life: To sleep & wake up to their partners; to go to their small job & its trifles; to raise kids, to go to church on Sundays. & later die as quietly as they lived. And that it's okay
@pink_cardillac @EjJorams@TreasonousBabe I wish we still did this. Dump me in the forest and forget about me. Let me be one with the earth, as natural and primal as was intended. Why all the formalities? Makes no sense to me.
It's 2025 and @citizentvkenya is giving us coverage of important state events in 144p. In an age where small content creators deliver live videos in 4k. What's your excuse?

Grief is an incredibly difficult beast to deal with. You can be having the best day then a smell, a fleeting memory or the most random thing throws you into a pit that you have to climb out of.
As COPIED:
*As received*👇🏽
William Ruto thinks the protests are about toppling him, and getting state power.
In his hallucinations born out of paranoia,he thinks some imaginary forces are out to topple him, and thinks it is all about winning elections.
That is why he is back to the campaign mode, with the usual lies, dishing out money and making absurd promises.
Rigathi Gachagua thinks the protests are about him being mistreated by Ruto and his friends. In his state of confusion,he thinks some people are out to take the non existent Mount Kenya kinship position!
His foolishness convinces him that the Youths are demanding he be treated better, and his position as Kingpin be recognised.
That is why he is now relaxed and calling for respect to the President as he now feels the threat is past him.
Raila Odinga thinks the demos are about his "stolen victory, the IEBC and power sharing.
In his usual style, he thinks the Youths are out in the street to make him a *Co-Principal* in Government, push for his allies to be awarded positions, and he be recognised as Chief Opposition Leader with perks and benefits.
That is why his brother, who is his mouth piece is making tribal pronouncements, and promising to engage in talks with the regime.
Jeremiah Kioni,Martha Karua and all Azimio people, minus Odinga, think the demos are about toppling William Ruto, and installing them as President and Government.
That is why they constantly talking about Ruto vacating power.
Kalonzo Musyoka thinks it is about defeating everyone, and handing him power on a silver platter minus any efforts on his part.
That is why he wants to look and sound different, and be the default heir to the throne.
Oscar Sudi and other Kalenjin supremacists think it is about Kalenjins and getting them out of power!
That is why they are arming and inciting young Kalenjins to come out and defend the tribe.
Only the young people of this Country understand that it is about accountability, making of a Nation that is a safe place, with equal opportunity for all.
I understand that without doubts.
Kenyans, we need to start fixing public transport. If you board a matatu and it is stopped by traffic police to collect bribes, speak up and remove your phone cameras. Tumesema we are the change!
@TheNairobiTimez What sort of country do we have here? People have become so desensitised to things which should be shocking, sacred and cause for alarm. Govt not even bothered to show goodwill and treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves. These poor souls, may they find peace.
"Did they not ululate for you at birth?
Affirmed you with spit (Kikuyu way of blessing)
Good things were spoken to your future
Dry your tears. Your ancestors love you"
What brought Kenya to this point was a desecration of ethics and values in society.
It has become normal to bribe for top civil service positions, churches valuing money from corrupt individuals more than society, old men in national and county public service boards demanding sex in exchange for simple things like internship, unscrupulous businessmen purchasing tenders and payment for genuine work done made impossible without 10/20% kickback.
Professionalism has been thrown out of the window and what matters is your last name, who you know and how much you can part with. So we have a law as important as Social Health Insurance being drafted with theft in mind.
Our country has become so vain that if you are normal, you sound insane. You are maligned for being normal. For walking the righteous path.
But eventually a people cannot live always purchasing belonging, education, existence, jobs, businesses and human rights from lords of impunity.
There is a time enough becomes enough. A time when all that matters should be that you profess the Kenyan anthem and carry the flag, want to do right by everyone. That we can be our brothers and sisters’ minders. Kind and Compassionate. Competent and Confident in all aspects of public and private work.
And our individual pursuits don’t become a zero-sum game where your success is only possible when I fail. This is the new order we must invite in our homes, organizations and country.
That time is now!
@BD_Africa Investigate and report on the seemingly impossible task of getting onto the @CBKKenya#dhowcsd portal. It seems to be built not to work and after many frustrating attempts to create profiles, people's complaints fall on deaf ears and they give up. I smell a fish.
@NationAfrica Niko na swali... Hizo watches zinacost millions, do they stop time? Can they make you time travel?? Why would you even need one in the first place? The inequality in this world is crazy
Unfortunately the hype is true. Waking up earlier, eating right, working out, and reading do amazing things for your mental health.
*honorable mention… cutting alcohol.
