The issues being that although I worked around it I dont like that the game near forces people to start with Chill Penguin and although I get why most of the game feels too easy for a megaman game.

Megaman X (replay) 8/10

Great start to the X series. Expanded on the classic formula with movement and a more interesting premise. X2 is better though because its more interesting to play and improved on the few major issues this game had.

@PixelBibleBytes Ragatha did not handle it in a healthy way the way she handled it was extremely self destructive

Not taking it out on others doesnt necessarily mean it was healthy either

@_SpyDtroid_ Id recommend going back to 5 and 6 at some point too. 6 is where the storytelling first got really complex and 5 is really fun

9 is amazing and feel free to do 9 next obviously but wanted to say just in case that the snes titles are worth playing and most of them still hold up

@bashamuto8 I played it for the first time 3 years ago then replayed it the year after so 2 years ago for the replay

Either stuff flew over my head or my definition on something overall being horny is a lot more constant due to some popular vns i played as a late teen i'm guessing

@Williamoogle @petalchere Out of curiosity why don't you remember Celes then? Locke's entire character arc is tied to her. I see them as 2 parts of a story being told cant just have one.

I have the opposite opinions on the casts personally I like the 6 cast significantly more and find the 7 cast just ok

@bashamuto8 I think saying its constant is an exaggeration its a couple things in a fairly long game far from a prominent thing in the experience

FF7 is the 2nd best but the cast is a pretty big step down from the FF6 cast because theres less characters and smaller arcs for most of them. Never got what was so special about the 7 cast even though I think Cloud and the story itself are pretty great.

I remember some guy on reddit that considered 6 to be one of the worst games in the franchise, gave the most illiterate takes ive ever seen on the game and talked down on any FF6 fan
