Deeply saddened by the demise of legendary shooting champion and coach Jaspal Rana
An Asian Games gold medalist, he mentored Manu Bhaker to Olympic glory
His passing away is a great loss to Indian sport
My heartfelt condolences to his family, fraternity and supporters

@ECISVEEP cannot keep hiding behind planted narratives forever. Judicial intervention was previously sought to preserve EVMs and CCTV footage. Then how can such incidents happen?
Was this merely an accident…or a calculated attempt to make crucial evidence vanish after tampering with Democracy itself?
#ECIMustAnswer #AccountabilityFirst
Dragged out of his home. Publicly humiliated. Mercilessly beaten by @BJP4Bengal-backed miscreants.
Our dedicated worker Mihir Ghosh has tragically succumbed to his injuries.
ANOTHER DEATH.
ANOTHER INJUSTICE.
This was not merely an assault. It was a barbaric act of state sponsored political violence that robbed a family of their loved one.
#Bengal is now being defined by:
Rising violence and crime.
Growing insecurity among ordinary citizens.
A dangerous culture of mob justice enabled by political patronage.
HOW MANY MORE LIVES MUST BE LOST BEFORE THE BJP GOVT IS HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THIS COMPLETE COLLAPSE OF LAW & ORDER?
A 7-second video of a speech by Trinamool MP Abhishek Banerjee is being shared with the FALSE claim that he threatened to kill BJP supporters. The clip has been selectively edited, removing the context & distorting Banerjee's remarks. @AnindyaHazra96

A section of the media is reporting that I have sought Central security cover following the attack on me in Sonarpur on the 30th of last month. This claim is entirely baseless and far from the truth.
I have not sought any security cover in the seven days since the attack. The incident occurred under the watch of both the Central and State governments and they must answer serious questions regarding the circumstances surrounding it.
What is even more disturbing is that over the past month, West Bengal has witnessed numerous incidents of rape and other horrific crimes affecting ordinary citizens, many of which have received little or no attention. The safety and security of the people should be the foremost priority of those entrusted with governance.
I urge both the State and Central security agencies to focus on protecting the citizens of West Bengal rather than allowing misinformation and politically motivated narratives to be amplified through sections of the media.
The people deserve safety, accountability and the truth.
After careful consideration, it has been decided that all committees of the All India Trinamool Congress in West Bengal, as well as all its frontal organisations, shall stand dissolved with immediate effect.
The party will undertake a comprehensive exercise of introspection, performance review and organisational assessment at every level. Based on the findings of this exercise, the organisational structure of the parent body and all frontal organisations will be reconstituted and announced in due course.
The party remains committed to strengthening its organisation and preparing it to meet future challenges with renewed vigour and purpose.
Deeply saddened by the tragic fire incident in Malviya Nagar, Delhi, which has claimed several precious lives.
My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families as they endure this profound loss. Praying for the speedy recovery of those injured and for strength, courage, and solace to all those affected by this heartbreaking tragedy.
Tribute to ‘Kalaignar’ M Karunanidhi Ji, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, on his birth anniversary. He was a poet, author, statesman, and great leader, loved by all. After he passed in 2018, we had sent our senior MP to his memorial meeting in Tamil Nadu @mkstalin@arivalayam
Warm felicitations to @DKShivakumar Ji on taking oath as the Chief Minister of Karnataka.
May his leadership usher in greater progress, prosperity, and inclusive development across the state.
Thank you @MehboobaMufti Ji, for your support.
Under the current regime, political violence and intimidation have become alarmingly normalised. Opposition leaders are being attacked in broad daylight, stones are being hurled, and democratic dissent is being met with State-sponsored hostility.
But such acts will NEVER DETER US. If anything, they only strengthen our resolve to build a safer, more just and peaceful India - an India that stands united against hatred, violence and political intimidation.
Yashwant Ji, thank you for your support.
Your words truly reflect the deeply troubling reality our nation faces today.
The stones they hurl today may serve their politics of fear, but they cannot escape the weight of accountability forever. State-sponsored hooliganism, enabled and protected by those at the Centre, can only survive for so long.
The day is not far when India will stand united against this authoritarian, divisive and violence-driven regime.
Grateful to @KapilSibal Ji for standing by the truth and speaking out at a time when it matters most.
@BJP4India never misses an opportunity to preach peace yet its actions tell a very different story. Time and again, violence, intimidation and political aggression have become the tools of those who claim to champion democratic values.
Their hypocrisy now stands fully exposed. This is a party defined by thugs & goons who operate with the protection of both the State and Central establishments.
What the country witnessed yesterday was A NEW LOW.
But intimidation will not succeed. We will continue to raise our voice, defend democratic principles and stand firmly with the people of India. No amount of violence or fear can weaken our commitment to the Constitution and the values it represents.
BARBARIC. MONSTROUS. INHUMANE.
This is the JUNGLE RAJ that the @BJP4India has unleashed in Bengal!
In a shocking act of political violence, Sandip Ghosh (Karna) was BRUTALLY ASSAULTED by @BJP4Bengal-backed miscreants and then forced to jump from the third floor of a building. He is now battling for his life with a brain haemorrhage, while those responsible continue to roam free.
The violence did not stop there. In Katwa, BJP-backed goons vandalised and destroyed our party offices, further exposing their politics of intimidation & terror.
These are not isolated incidents. They are part of a disturbing pattern of organised political violence that is pushing Bengal towards lawlessness.
Every such attack raises serious questions about the collapse of law & order under the present administration. WHEN PERPETRATORS ACT WITH SUCH BRAZENNESS IN BROAD DAYLIGHT AND ESCAPE ACCOUNTABILITY, IT REFLECTS A DANGEROUS FAILURE OF GOVERNANCE.
A Govt that cannot protect its citizens, curb political violence, or uphold the rule of law has FAILED in its most basic duty!
Yesterday, BJP supporters brutally attacked and lynched @AITCofficial Lok Sabha Floor Leader @abhishekaitc. The terrifying videos are in the public domain.
Today, our Chief Whip in Lok Sabha, @KBanerjee_AITC was also a victim of a planned BJP attack.
BJP murdering democracy.
Thank you, Rahul ji, for your concern and constant support. We stand united and resolute in our fight to protect the soul of India, defend its democratic institutions and uphold the values enshrined in our Constitution.
Last year, I travelled across five countries representing India as part of the all-party delegation for Operation Sindoor. I defended my country and stood united against terrorism.
Today, I stand as a victim of political violence and state sponsored terrorism unleashed by those who claim to be the guardians of nationalism.
This is the reality of today’s BJP. If you support them, you are a patriot. If you question them, you become a target. If you stand with them, you are celebrated. If you stand against them, they try to silence you.
I would rather face intimidation while defending democracy than enjoy comfort by surrendering my principles.
Power is temporary. The will of the people is permanent. I will bow only before the people, never before the people in power.
We will continue our fight against those who seek to weaken democracy and divide our nation. INDIA STANDS UNITED and together, we will ensure that the politics of fear, hatred, violence and intimidation is defeated, and that the voice of the people prevails.
Thank you @HemantSorenJMM Ji. Your support gives me strength to continue the fight against such intimidation and violence.
Yesterday's attack bore all the hallmarks of a State-sponsored and Centre-backed attempt to intimidate the Opposition.
When violence unfolds in full public view and the administration remains a mute spectator, it ceases to be a law-and-order failure and becomes a DELIBERATE ASSAULT ON DEMOCRACY ITSELF.
We will not be intimidated. We will continue to stand with the people and fight for an India where democracy prevails over fear and violence.
INDIA STANDS UNITED.
I am deeply grateful for your support and solidarity, @yadavakhilesh Ji.
What transpired yesterday was not the act of a few unruly elements.
Governments are judged not only by what they do, but also by what they deliberately choose not to do.
Withdrawing an opposition MP’s security cover, refusing to deploy police despite clear warnings and allowing armed hooligans to operate with impunity reveals a disturbing truth.
This was not negligence. This was a conscious abdication of responsibility that paved the way for a premeditated act of political violence.
But those who think violence can break our spirit are mistaken. Every attack only strengthens our resolve and commitment to UNITEDLY FIGHT FOR THE PEOPLE OF INDIA.
Thank you for your support, @kharge Ji.
At a time when Opposition leaders are being attacked in broad daylight, the @BJP4India regime once again EXPOSES ITS CONTEMPT FOR DEMOCRATIC VALUES. Beyond vendetta politics, intimidation and attempts to silence its opponents, it has little to offer the people of India.
Together, we must continue this fight for the people of our nation. We owe it to them - to protect their dignity, safeguard their welfare and secure the justice they deserve.
No force can silence the voice of the people, nor can it weaken our collective resolve to defend democracy and uphold the values of our Constitution.
Thank you for your wishes, brother @yadavtejashwi.
Under @BJP4India’s rule, democracy is increasingly being stifled in an atmosphere of fear, intimidation and political hostility.
But such tactics will never deter us. If anything, they only strengthen our resolve. Our commitment to the people of India and the values enshrined in our Constitution remains unwavering.
