Went over 10 hours looking at games today

So far...

31 are cheated (18 is 100% proof)
15 helped someone cheat or likely cheating (needs investigation)
10 idk bracket (something kinda sus needs more investigation)
44 legit

Bad thing is only 3 from the top 22 are legit :')

Like over 70% of the top 30 are cheated

Probably over 50% of the total 100 are not legit.

Yet 0 answers or punishment as it stands

I honestly don't understand how the PUBG Kick Bounty has been handled. @Kick @KickSupport @PUBG

People have spent a lot of time grinding this event fairly, but it's becoming more and more obvious that the leaderboard isn't being properly moderated.

The biggest issue is that players aren't required to stream or even record their POV.

How can a highest-kill competition have prize money involved when there's no requirement to show the actual gameplay?

Because of that, we're seeing multiple problems.

First, there are players who are very obviously cheating. They've been reported, emails have been sent, and they're still sitting on the leaderboard.

Second, people are getting friends into their games to feed them kills. Again, with no POV, it's technically harder to catch (but you do have websites that prove it). But they still sit in leaderboards.

Then there's the bot issue.

At first, bot kills counted. Later the rules were changed so matches with a high proportion of bots wouldn't count, but that doesn't really fix the problem.

Someone can still get a match with loads of bots, farm a huge number of free kills, kill a handful of real players, and end up with a score that's massively inflated compared to someone playing in a proper lobby.

That isn't an equal playing field.

The thing I don't understand the most is why streaming isn't required.

Kick is literally a streaming platform.

If everyone had to stream or record their runs + their teammates, it would:

Make cheating much easier to spot.
Make kill feeding much easier to investigate.
Bring more PUBG content to Kick.
Give people confidence that the leaderboard is actually legitimate.

Instead, people can submit insane scores with zero footage available.

I've emailed support, and every reply is basically the same generic message saying it's been passed to the moderation team.

But nothing changes.

The same suspicious players are still there, and whats extra sad is that a few of them are even PUBG partners themselves.

I'm not posting this because I want to complain for the sake of it. I actually like the idea behind the event, and I want more competitions like this.

I just want them to be fair for everyone who's putting in the time and playing honestly.

Please take another look at the leaderboard, investigate the reports properly, and for future events make streaming or a full POV recording mandatory.

It would solve so many of these problems.
