மாண்புமிகு தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சர் திரு.ச. ஜோசப் விஜய் அவர்கள் இன்று 28.06.2026 மாநிலம் தழுவிய தீவிர போலியோ தடுப்பூசி முகாமை தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.

முகாமின் முதல் நாளில், 52,91,093 குழந்தைகள் இலக்காக நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்ட நிலையில், 51,86,792 குழந்தைகளுக்கு போலியோ சொட்டு மருந்து வழங்கப்பட்டு, 98.03% சாதனைமிகு தடுப்பூசி செலுத்தும் இலக்கு எட்டப்பட்டது.

தமிழ்நாட்டின் ஒவ்வொரு குழந்தையையும் போலியோவிலிருந்து பாதுகாப்பதிலும், போலியோ இல்லாத தமிழ்நாட்டை தொடர்ந்து நிலைநிறுத்துவதிலும் தமிழ்நாடு சுகாதாரத் துறை அர்ப்பணிப்புடன் செயல்படும்.

மாண்புமிகு தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சர் திரு.ச. ஜோசப் விஜய் அவர்கள் இன்று (28.6.2026) மருத்துவம் மற்றும் மக்கள் நல்வாழ்வுத் துறை சார்பில் சென்னை, பாலவாக்கம், அரசு ஆதிதிராவிடர் நல உயர்நிலைப் பள்ளியில் நடைபெற்ற தேசிய போலியோ சொட்டு மருந்து சிறப்பு முகாமில் குழந்தைகளுக்கு சொட்டு மருந்து வழங்கி, பொம்மைகளையும் வழங்கினார்.

நாடு தழுவிய போலியோ சொட்டு மருந்து முகாமை, தமிழ்நாட்டில் இன்று ஜூன் 28 ஆம் தேதி காலை சென்னை பாலவாக்கத்தில் மாண்புமிகு முதலமைச்சர் அவர்கள் தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.

குழந்தைகளுக்கு போலியோ சொட்டு மருந்து வழங்கி, அன்புப் பரிசாக பொம்மையும் வழங்கி மகிழ்ந்தார்.

தமிழ்நாடு முழுவதும் 43,000 மையங்களில் சுமார் 53 லட்சம் குழந்தைகளுக்கு இன்று போலியோ சொட்டு மருந்து வழங்கப்படுகிறது.

பிறந்த குழந்தைகள் முதல் ஐந்து வயதுக்குட்பட்ட குழந்தைகள் வரை உங்கள் வீட்டில் இருந்தால்... உங்களுக்கு அருகே உள்ள போலியோ சொட்டு மருந்து முகாமுக்கு சென்று குழந்தைகளுக்கு சொட்டு மருந்து கொடுங்கள். நீங்கள் பயணத்தில் இருந்தாலும் பேருந்து, ரயில், விமான நிலையங்களில் போலியோ சொட்டு மருந்து முகாம்கள் உங்களுக்காக உதவும்.

CMC Vellore partners with Unifeeder (@DP_World
company), in coordination with Amana development consultants, to launch 'Cervicare Thrice' for women’s health. This initiative is designed to strengthen efforts across prevention, screening, early detection, and treatment of #CervicalCancer, the second most common #cancer among women in India.

The initiative aims to reach more than 10,000 girls and women across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Bihar through school and community-based #awareness sessions. Around 3,000 women will also be screened with identified precancerous cases receiving follow-up care and treatment.

The initiative will strengthen CMC Vellore’s treatment capabilities through the introduction of an advanced Geneva #brachytherapy applicator, designed to deliver more precise and effective #cancertherapy, improving treatment accuracy and efficiency while ensuring optimal tumour coverage with minimal radiation exposure to surrounding tissues.

So far, over 1,040 women in the community have been screened in with 146 identified as positives to be treated.
