This Men’s Mental Health Month, we remind every young man: your mental health matters too. 💙
You do not have to suffer in silence, carry every burden alone, or pretend to be okay when you are not. Seeking support is a strength, not a weakness.

Representing Kenya on the global stage🇰🇪🌍
Through the UPower Youth Exchange Programme to China,Desouza (Y+ Kenya) engaged with global policymakers youth leaders, and change makers in discussions on youth volunteerism and digital SRHRsharing Kenya’s youthled experiences.
Stronger systems. Safer communities.
In patnership with Mildmay Kenya we convened stakeholders in Busia County to strengthen GBV response, improve referral pathways, and advance access to justice.
Next steps: better data, stronger coordination & increased county .
Young people must not be afterthought. HIV services must be youth‑led, privacy‑protective, and integrate SRHR – designed with young people and properly resourced.
When youth shape what gets delivered, outcomes improve—and no one is left behind.

🚨NEWS UPDATE 🚨
A new Gender Commission report reveals alarming realities affecting girls in Kenya:
🔴 15% of school-going girls have undergone FGM
🔴 23% have been forced into early marriages
🔴 65% of girls and women faced sexual harassment between 2024–2025
These numbers are not just statistics, they are lives interrupted, rights violated, and futures threatened.
We must raise our voices, support survivors, and push for stronger protection, education, and community action.
Every girl deserves safety, dignity, and a chance to thrive. ❤️
