This was the original intent behind the CSPA policy update earlier this year. Glad to see this important clarification, which likely impacts the majority of people who would have qualified for it.
But there is much more the admin needs to do.
We are delighted to see this clarification to @USCIS CSPA policy, which will ensure that individuals who were not able to file for adjustment of status under the old rule can still qualify for the policy update made earlier this year.

I have seen tech companies support 1) DACA; 2) no asylum transit ban; 3) parole programs; 4) refugee program — and pretty much every program you can imagine that does not actually help their main cadre of employees. Time to step up here and do the right thing. Do something!!
@CollinRugg We don't need forced retirement age. Just term limits. If the Presidency and Governors can have them, so can Congress and Senate. Mitch would have never been in power this long with term limits. Shocked Trump hasn't discussed it.
@ShriThanedar A key action point is updating visa bulletin dates. Doing so empowers everyone with I-140 approval to file I-485, EAD, and AP, facilitating AP travel and addressing the issue of kids ageing out.

Add your comments and request to make visa bulletin (date of filing) current every year in October. Just EAD isn't useful. Making VB current will allow us to apply i485, EAD, AP and will stop kids from aging out.

@ShriThanedar i140 7 yrs ago. Couldnt travel during family emergencies due to visa dependencies. EAD is welcome idea & addresses lot of rippling issues due to #greencardbacklog. However, i140 will still tied to an employer. We need time bound #Greencard not simply longer chains to employer

“The American people are tired of divisive and extreme policies coming out of Washington. They want real bipartisan solutions and the America’s Children’s Act is one bicameral, bipartisan solution we must pursue.”-@RepDeborahRoss

We highlighted the plight of all age out documented dreamers in our brief. Tomorrow will be time to answer judges questions. I have only 15 minutes but I will make the best case I can.
“They are also a population we have got to address and my opinion is that they deserve a path to citizenship in the only country they’ve ever known.”-@SenatorSinema joins @broomheadKTAR show on @KTAR923.
Thank you, Senator Sinema!
Despite growing up in the U.S., kids whose parents came here on work visas — "documented dreamers" — face the prospect of self-deportation and other uncertainties when they become adults.
