BREAKING: After a massive public backlash, Twitter owner Elon Musk shamelessly backtracks on his infamous pledge to “limit” verified acodarme to “reading 6,000 posts per day” and “unverified accounts to 600 posts per day.”
Now, Elon Musk says that the “rate limits” will be “increasing soon to 8,000 for verified accounts and 800 for unverified accounts”…. as if that makes it any better.
It’s embarrassing that a billionaire bought the internet’s most valuable intellectual property —- and is now recklessly milking it for money and turning it into something unrecognizable.
Even worse, he is making these decisions on a whim and quickly trying to backtrack now that Twitter users are outraged.
Unfortunately for Musk, the damage is done. Occupy Democrats and dozens of other top political and artistic influencers just announced that they are migrating to Tribel, a “woke” new Twitter alternative that has already pledged to remain totally free of charge and NEVER limit how many posts it’s users can read.
Please retweet, ❤️, and follow us on Tribel by clicking here: https://t.co/HnJzSKj4Hp to get all of our breaking news alerts sent straight to your phone. Twitter is circling the drain…

The trends we're seeing throughout Ontario are very concerning. Earlier today, I spoke with all CEOs from Ontario’s hospitals to understand what’s happening on the ground.
We will be continuing emergency meetings this weekend & will be providing an update on Monday at 1pm.

A couple days ago, we announced Canada’s strengthened climate plan. It’ll protect our environment, it’ll create good jobs, it’ll make your life more affordable, and it’ll make our economy more resilient and competitive. To find out how, click here: https://t.co/1YLUNUpsn4
This is beyond frustrating. 2/3 of the 1,987 survey respondents said they were fine with a $16 a year tax increase to clear all City sidewalks, but folks might still be stuck waiting another winter? #HamOnt@djnontario https://t.co/BYkleM8JH4
We have lost an icon. Almost every night for more than three decades, Alex Trebek entertained and educated millions around the world, instilling in so many of us a love for trivia. My deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all who are mourning this tremendous loss.
Congratulations, @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris. Our two countries are close friends, partners, and allies. We share a relationship that’s unique on the world stage. I’m really looking forward to working together and building on that with you both.
In a recent poll, 79% of Albertans thought their province should transition toward more #RenewableEnergy. “It's about … keeping the industries that we rely on strong, and diversifying so that in the future we're not so reliant on any single industry." https://t.co/0RSJcauC17
