@Johnpoppersfas2@KyleClark What kind of dog is yours? I recently adopted mine from a shelter, and he looks a lot like that. He's sort of greyhound....and a bunch of other stuff. Runs like the wind, smart and kinda sassy. I'll get a DNA for him one of these days.
While each of us has different views on the particulars, we believe that Harris’s economic agenda will improve our nation’s health, investment, sustainability, resilience, employment opportunities, and fairness and be vastly superior to the counterproductive economic agenda of Donald Trump. @Phil_Mattingly wrote about our letter for @CNN https://t.co/DpCOHDB1Oe
We had a great time celebrating our College of Education faculty at the Reappointment, Tenure, and Promotion Ceremony! Congrats to Barbara Hickman, Jihyun Lee, Todd Reynolds, Marisa Macy, Joe Schroer, Rochelle McCoy, and Kim Gustafson.
This is not ancient history... Ruby Bridges is only 70. The courage it must have taken her, to walk into all that hate. We're lucky to be able to learn about her historical and personal perspective on this moment on American history.
Wishing a happy 70th birthday to Ruby Bridges, the first Black student to integrate an all-white elementary school in the south.
Today, let’s honor her legacy of progress and the path she bravely paved for future generations of Americans.
@HerbertHistory Ok, last one, I promise. Spendy, but the Royal Gorge RR is awesome, and you can do a no meal one that's ( slightly) cheaper. ( Mt Princeton Hot Springs is AMAZING, but probably too far of a drive for a day trip).
@HerbertHistory When you've got that all done, go to the Broadmoor. It's fun to walk through, and they do a nice job of presenting the ( very interesting) history of it. Then, choose a restaurant there and have lunch. It's cheaper than dinner but still atmospheric.
@HerbertHistory Have one day in Colorado Springs. Garden of the God's is free and has shorter hikes if that's not her favorite thing to do. It's easy to be graceful about that by noting the much higher altitude. Go sort of early in the morning for heat avoidance. Visitor Center is also good.
@HerbertHistory No other airport has Blucifer. It's the best. Plus, it's so dang awesome to have a window seat and track geography/Geology with the app Flyover Country. Best scenery ever.
If I could chose something to be recognized for doing well, teaching would be high on my list. Receiving this award is an incredible honor, and I'm grateful to the Ellbogen Foundation as well as my amazing students and colleagues for making it happen. https://t.co/xFzmcLEaO6
