12 locals, including an 82yr old man were arrested and detained under special powers for a week for "daring" to investigate wtf was going on at Shrubland hall.

It turned out to be a Ijtima gathering, which are banned across the Muslim world for being "dangerous".

The police have quietly updated tonight:

“We have made extensive enquiries, but at this time, we have found no evidence to support anyone being charged with any offences linked to the alleged threat".

They raided all their homes and scoured all their devices hoping to find anything remotely "terrorist" and couldn't.

Absolute disgrace.

17-YEAR-OLD GIRL STABBED IN NECK, ATTACKER IS 30-YEAR-OLD MAN OF PAKISTANI HERITAGE

Lancashire Police have confirmed that the man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder is a 30-year-old man of Pakistani heritage.

The 17-year-old victim was stabbed in the back of the neck, and has since been discharged from hospital. The suspect, from Brierfield, remains in custody.

A police spokesman said there is "currently no evidence to suggest this attack was racially motivated".

Of course they said that. They always say that. A young British girl attacked from behind, a knife to the neck, and the police rush to reassure the public that race played no part. How could they possibly know so quickly?

The pattern repeats, the questions go unanswered, the public loses trust.

It was truly awful to see that not a single bishop turned up for the remembrance of Ann Widdecombe in the House of Lords this week.
A woman of deep, unwavering Roman Catholic faith, Ann centred her entire life and political career on her Christian beliefs, from her principled stands on life issues to her tireless advocacy for persecuted Christians. Her devotion to both Church and country was total and courageous.
Even if they disagreed with some of her views, the least the Lords Spiritual could have done was show basic respect for her lifelong dedication. Instead, their absence speaks volumes: too lost in woke values, lacking the courage to honour a woman of real conviction. A sad reflection on where parts of the establishment Church have drifted.
Rest in peace, Ann, you were a true servant of faith and principle. 🙏

Jess Phillips has been utterly exposed as a fraud in this brutal Channel 4 interview.

The supposed champion for safeguarding women and girls just admitted she “absolutely understood” and “absolutely knew” that some r*p!sts, sex abusers and domestic abusers would walk free early under Labour’s scheme.

When pressed on why she and her party voted against the Conservative amendment to exclude these exact offenders from early release, her only defence? “There’s a prison crisis.”

Yes, Jess, there is but that’s no excuse for letting predators out sooner. The “safeguarding minister” shouldn’t be shrugging it off.

The interviewer confronted her with devastated victim statements. Phillips called the handling “appalling” and whined that some victims shouldn’t even be getting those letters. The interviewer fired back: “But that’s exactly what you voted for!”

Typical Jess Phillips: never taking responsibility. Just like when she blamed others in her party for “turning a blind eye” to grooming gangs (but never herself), or when she resigned from the Starmer government claiming she couldn’t get anything done only to throw him and the rest under the bus the moment it was politically convenient. It’s a clear pattern with her.

The same woman who was warned by the shadow justice minister that this would come back to haunt every single one of them. When the interviewer asked “does it haunt you now?”, Phillips coldly replied: “It doesn’t haunt me.”

Absolutely shameful, but entirely predictable from Jess Phillips.

Women and girls deserve so much better.
