Parish Nurse at the Steeple Church in Dundee, privileged to be called to do work that I love, to make life healthier and more hope-ful for a lot of folk.
@CllrAlexander Totally agree with Kirsty. 3rd se tor organisations have to depend on limited and fragmented funding, too many of these 'projects' are short-term. The needs of people who have acute problems is again being CUT.
@QNI_Scotland @OU_HWSC @PRoMISScot This was such an interesting evening. It was great to think about very different stuff from usual. It was like having a mini-holiday. I felt like I was in Orkney, I had the map out to see where Victoria was talking about. That's what it aimed to do, and it was very successful.
@afterprohibends @clongmuir88 This is just awful. Drugs services need to change, root and branch, cooperate with other vital services plus mental health for example. Let's not be reading stories like this any more please.
@tinysunbird Hi Christie, how lovely to see and hear you again thus evening on the RCN Foundation programme. Thank you for writing you most recent book; it is inspirational, and gives rise to hope, through hearing stories of courage, compassion, passion and dogged perseverance.
