@SplyncShaun it's a shame what's happened to the Bristol Avon. Had so much potential... do you fish anywhere else?

[Matthew Pizzey @Barbel_Diaries]

@SplyncShaun No, it's on the Telford AA ticket at Buildwas. Looked great but no barbel unfortunately! Just chub

@GazGuildford even better 👍🏻

[Matthew Pizzey @Barbel_Diaries]

@GazGuildford @barbelhunters I'll usually just bite off a pellet sized piece and fish it with a feeder filled with soaked pellet 😉🎣🎣🎣

[Matthew Pizzey @Barbel_Diaries]

@GazGuildford @barbelhunters I've found the red peperami is the better one to use. Let's off a lot of oils and is a great alternative

[Matthew Pizzey @Barbel_Diaries]

@carpmarathon nice and simple.. I usually have 2 rods, one on a feeder and the other on a straight lead like that fished downstream 😉

[Matthew Pizzey @Barbel_Diaries]

@carpmarathon they will be ok for the sea I suppose? 😂 I'm just waiting on the 3oz ones to becomes available. I can then test those sooner

[Matthew Pizzey @Barbel_Diaries]

@carpmarathon couldn't agree more. These are made extremely well. Just need some water on the Severn now as they're 5oz 🙈🙈
