@LliyWhite_thfc @NadimNaaman @mrjakedwood@Alex_Segal Not just the wages Spurs also lag behind on transfers, Spurs aren't able to spend close to £200m net in last few years? AFC have a huge advantage and still are finishing 6th, below Spurs this season which is why you are getting a new man who can make better use of your $$
@NadimNaaman @LliyWhite_thfc@mrjakedwood@Alex_Segal Nadim, you know how much prize money the FA Cup gives winners? It's £1.8m this year in 2018!!! Work out if £120m+ wages plus the huge outlay on players in last few years is worth finishing 5th 6th and winning 3 FA Cups which is no longer a major prize.
@ckeogh1971 @HandofHenry 200m plus sale of players the manager doesn't see in his plans, will give AFC a good foundation to bring in who they need. Allegri isn't scared of Barca's Madrid's Munich's he proved he can beat them, this is what AFC need.
@JpHayz@fkhanage By virtue of Arsenal maybe being finalists to Man City in League Cup the place probably goes to them because MCFC will be in CL as PL winners
@MichaelPacholek@GoonerGirl1969@paulottey FYI Arsenal's money is coming mainly through other avenues not just stadium, out of the £423m they made(May 2017) under 25% was from Stadium which doesn't even cover the players wages let alone pay for new signings.
@MichaelPacholek@GoonerGirl1969@paulottey MUFC had more debt than Arsenal during the same period in 2005 a club which was virtually debt free and that debt didn't go on player purchases. They were paying off equiv of two stadiums debts and won about 5 league titles during that period!
