THREAD:
I believe there are a lot of misconceptions & opinions going around Barca's financial situation and how the board is trying to deal with it, among Culés & fans of other clubs as well.
In this thread, I will be trying my best to explain it and share my two cents on it.
This is senior ESPN writer and veteran Sports Journalist, yet he's deliberately ignoring the fact that Messi and teammates simply turned towards the Argentina supporters to greet and acknowledge them for their support, something players do after the match.
Instead, he's deliberately misrepresenting a harmless moment to create unnecessary controversy.
I keep saying it, there's a deliberate, organized and sponsored media onslaught and propaganda againt Messi and Argentina.
“I hate Argentina cuz of Israel. Btw I live in America, make my money in America, was educated at Oxford University in the UK and I support England. No there’s no cognitive dissonance here!”
Freak. Get a grip man.

It’s great that more people have gotten into football these months and have seen the passion for the global game. That’s the beauty of the World Cup.
What this World Cup has also shown us is that disinformation and hate sells. Instagram, Tik Tok, and Twitter have been inundated with insane hate campaigns that are so antithetical to football.
Sobering reminder that you shouldn’t believe everything you see online or let the algorithm continue to spiral you in insane directions.
If you don’t have the common sense or investigative skills to tell the difference between what’s real and what’s clearly an agenda built on lies and manipulation, how can anyone trust you as a journalist?
Why would you willingly sacrifice your credibility, and over what? Sports?
@mehdirhasan The issue I have with people like you making posts like this and falling for the Anti-Arg/Messi propaganda is that it stains your actual political work. If you’re spreading this propaganda, why should I trust you’re not spreading BS when talking about non-football subjects?
