We faded them yesterday but tonight we back them as they have the clear pitching advantage imo. Paul Skenes has been very disappointing all season but he’s been even worse on the road with a 4.40 ERA on whereas Michael King has been super steady all year & even more-so at home. I like the padres to bounce back here tonight 🔥

Max has looked pretty impressive at times lately, but his success at this stage of his career isn’t coming from the swing and miss like it used to. I expect him to attack the zone and look for soft contact, especially with a fresh Blue Jays bullpen behind him after yesterday’s off day. I also expect a relatively short leash tonight, with Toronto fighting for the 3rd Wild Card spot & also to note the Royals have the 4th lowest strikeout rate since the all star break 👀 (7th all season)
