'The Bookworm' bookshop is coming together in Bardwell's School Hall, ready for the pupils to re-gift their preloved books to each other. Parents/carers - we'll see you for scones in the café later! #WorldBookDay2024@EADT24@SuffolkNewswire
The scone making production line is in action for tomorrow's #WorldBookDay2024 'Re-Love A Book Café' with parents/carers! Pupils are bringing in their pre-loved books and re-gifting instead of dressing up.
One of our dads is running a marathon to raise money for the School - this is the winning shirt design for him. Please #donate on @justgiving and RT. Thanks! https://t.co/DaD0y3g5lP…

For #WBD we're NOT dressing up but are asking everyone to bring in one (or lots!) of good quality second hand children's books. We will then set up a book shop café where children can choose a re loved book to give to another member of their class.

The winning design in Bardwell Parish Council's poster competition, aiming to eliminate dog poo from the streets of Bardwell. Well done to winner Frankie and to the 3 runners-up who all got a cash prize.
Some of our pupil councillors represented the school at a recent meeting of the Bardwell Parish Council, here are the two councils in the village hall.
Sorry we've been a bit quiet on Twitter while it became 'X'. If you are looking for a school place, we have had some fantastic taster sessions this term. We are still happy to give you a tour if you missed out on those. Just give us a call! 01359 250854
Well done to our Y6s who received their leavers' hoodies last week and had a fabulous lunch at the Grumpy Goat Bardwell, after putting in such hard work for their SATs!
We know that the costume prep for #WBD2023 can be stressful/expensive. Bardwell pupils made superb themed hats this year, here's a small selection with lots of recycling going on in their designs. Fewer single use costumes going into landfill is a win for us!
Sunday 15th January 2023 is Suffolk County Council's Admission deadline for a place in Reception from September 2023.
If you would like to tour the school before then, please contact us on 01359 250854 or [email protected].
