That doesn’t follow. God permitting and regulating something within a fallen society does not make it His moral ideal.
Jesus gives the exact principle: Moses permitted divorce “because of the hardness of your hearts,” then immediately points back to God’s original design (Matt. 19:8).
Permission ≠ approval. Regulation ≠ endorsement. God restraining human evil is not God endorsing human evil.
You’re actually proving my point. Israel receiving a particular covenant doesn’t mean God had nothing to say to the rest of humanity. The nations existed under God’s moral authority long before Sinai.
And regulating an existing evil is not the same as calling it good. The Bible also regulates divorce while explicitly saying it was permitted because of the hardness of men’s hearts. Regulation ≠ endorsement.
