#ALLEMAGNE_RDC🇨🇩 Diplomatie et développement : Le Dr. @DenisMukwege intègre la Commission Nord-Sud de #Berlin

​BERLIN La diplomatie et l'expertise congolaises s'illustrent une nouvelle fois sur la scène internationale.

Le prix Nobel de la paix, le Dr Denis Mukwege, a été officiellement nommé membre de la Commission Nord-Sud du gouvernement allemand, une instance stratégique axée sur l'avenir de la politique de développement.

​Annoncée le 5 octobre 2026 à Berlin, cette nomination place le célèbre gynécologue congolais parmi un panel restreint de 20 experts de haut niveau.

La commission est coprésidée par deux figures politiques majeures :

l’ancien chancelier allemand Olaf Scholz et l’ancienne présidente costaricienne Laura Chinchilla.

Leur mission stratégique sera d'élaborer de nouvelles orientations et de redéfinir les paradigmes de la coopération internationale face aux enjeux globaux contemporains.

​Le coup d'envoi des travaux de cette commission sera donné à Bangkok les 16 et 17 octobre prochains, à l'occasion d'une première réunion de concertation qui se tiendra en marge des rencontres avec la Banque mondiale et le Fonds monétaire international (FMI).

​Du bloc opératoire de l'hôpital de Panzi aux hautes instances de décision mondiales, le parcours du « réparateur des femmes » continue de forcer le respect et d'imposer la voix de la République démocratique du Congo parmi les acteurs qui façonnent la gouvernance globale.

Since January, we have launched activities in #Tshopo to support the revival of cash crops together with #IFAYangambi, as part of the Green Corridor Kivu–Kinshasa.
Already in production: 15,000 #cocoa seedlings, 62,208 #coffee seedlings,and 15,000 #oilpalm.

🇨🇩 #DRC | #STEP : 10 alumni transform their school club into an agricultural business in #Kinshasa

Since July 2024, the ITAV SALONGO/Kinshasa alumni have been working to structure a sustainable agricultural business, with technical support from the AALI Youth Brigade.

Their training in agricultural entrepreneurship introduced them to:
✅ Business organization;
✅ Fundraising & partnerships;
✅ Legal business creation in the DRC;
✅ Market analysis & risk management.

🎯 Result: young people are equipped to undertake entrepreneurship, create jobs, strengthen food security, and contribute to local sustainable development.

We aim to train a cadre of students & young school leavers to develop the perception of agriculture as a source of employment and income from an early age, so that they can become drivers of their country's agricultural transformation.

🇨🇩 DRC | Concrete steps towards
materialization of the “#GreenCorridor, Kivu-Kinshasa” project

After the interaction in Nairobi, Dr @NteranyaS Sanginga, President of #AALI and Coordinator of #CCP-PNAA, led a mission to Beni, North Kivu, where the delegation was welcomed by Mr. Emmanuel de Mérode @gorillacd , Director of the of the Virunga Foundation.

This second strategic meeting aimed to lay the foundations for a public-private partnership for the “Couloir Vert, Kivu-Kinshasa” project, with the aim to:

✅ Enhance agricultural value chains

✅ Strengthen local processing

✅ Set up a sustainable development cluster
focused on green energies

Kinshasa: strengthening #partnership with the private sector!
The President of AALI, Dr @NteranyaS , met the President of @CERAGRU1 , Mr. Mbilo Bompate François , at his office in Kimpoko, where the new new #youthbrigade agripark is located. The aim of the meeting was to strengthen the strategic collaboration between the two organizations in order to promote #agribusiness among young people in the provincial city of #Kinshasa .

#Outreach/Season A 2024-2025:

Besides the ongoing effort in the Ruzizi plains, AALI and IITA are distributing agricultural inputs in #Grand-Kasaï by providing improved maize seeds and fertilizers for a total coverage of 3,000 rural households. The aim is to help farmers increase their production, thus strengthening the rural economy and combaingt hunger & malnutrition in the country.

AALI's #YouthBrigade strengthens the technical capacities of youth and women horticulturists in "Ndjili Brasserie".
The training focuses on GAPs and facilitates small producers' access to high-quality inputs to maximize production, reinforce food security and promote the creation of sustainable jobs in #Kinshasa. This is the second cohort in the province, after "Mbakana".
